I placed an order for fried chicken at 8:00 PM. After waiting for an hour and a half（should be arrived within 30min), the delivery was finally shown to be arriving. However, I received a call from the store stating that they had made a mistake and asked me to return the order—even though I hadn't received anything yet!

By that time, it was almost 10:00 PM. I was experiencing mild low blood sugar and had no food at home. Instead of offering a solution, they casually told me to “return” an order I never received and said I would have to wait again for a new delivery to be sent out.

When I insisted on canceling the order due to this incompetence, the representative avoided the issue and stopped responding. To make matters worse, the platform later attempted to charge me for two tips, as if I had received two orders—which I never did.

This is utterly unprofessional. Your error wasted my time, endangered my well-being, and your team refused to take responsibility. I will never order from you again and strongly advise others to...

I ordered take out half & half chicken and french fries tonight. The fried chicken tastes like old chicken or old oil, but it was not cooked properly. The outer coating was NOT crispy at all on the original. The secret spicy sauce tasted different from before too. Something is missing. I have been having kbbq chicken for 7-8 yrs from the NYC chain. I had high hopes for the jersey city one. But this place is going downhill. When they first opened, it was great. Couple of months later, quality and service declined so I didnt go often. Tried it out again tonight and was very disappointed. Management needs to step in to improve quality of the food and service. The girl behind the counter was pretty much flirting with the back staff. They didn’t even acknowledge us when we entered the store. She was looking at photos on the guy’s(back staff) phone. Made me wonder if he was actually cooking the food properly. What is going on with the food quality here? Ever since it opened, the chicken quality has been consistently disappointing. It honestly feels like there is zero oversight — as if the priority is profit over product or customer experience.

I ordered the Large Golden Original, and what I received looked and tasted more like soggy, greasy popcorn chicken. It was a floury, oily mess — I couldn’t even tell if I was eating a wing, thigh, or drumstick (look at the photos yourself ) . After just a few pieces, I felt sick. That’s how bad it was.

On top of that, the portion sizes are completely inconsistent — sometimes small, sometimes big — and there seems to be no standard. This isn’t just a one-time slip-up. It’s been a repeated problem, and frankly, it feels like no one is even trying.
