I wish I could leave negative stars!!!! I'm not the type of person to leave a review, but this experience with the restaurant and OWNER-- I've never experienced anything like it. My husband called in to order a small pizza and chicken parmesan with pasta alla vodka. The phone got passed around one or two times because no one could understand? When he gets to the restaurant 30 minutes later, no one had even started the order and he needs to reorder. The restaurant was empty. He waits around for 15 minutes just to get home and find no pasta sauce on our pasta and they gave us an XL pizza. The food was also inedible too... honestly. Pizza was extremely oily and the cheese was curdled. The pineapples taste like they came from a can. Chicken parm tasted like chicken tenders and was in 4 separate parts? I call the restaurant upset about the whole experience and terrible food/experience thus far. At the same time, my husband and I get separate texts from an employee at the restaurant about our Uber being on the way??? They obviously had the wrong number(s) and no clue what they were doing. I'm about to take the food back to the restaurant.... when the owner calls me.... I tell the owner, Jimmy, what happened and he gets disgruntled with me that they don't have small pizzas (okay, well someone could've mentioned that, fine) and that If I looked on the website... I recommended that staff did not speak great English and that the whole experience has been terrible because they couldn't get the order right over the phone AND in-person. The owner starts raising his voice and cutting me off and then has the audacity to say I'm racist?! When little does he know I'm 100% CUBAN!!!!! It was disgusting that he was sitting on the phone arguing with me at all. I told him I didn't know why he was giving me attitude, then when he started yelling, I just hung up on him. This restaurant not only has TERRIBLE FOOD, NO CLUE what they're doing, but is ALSO VERY POORLY managed. No accountability from the owner or customer service.

I was actually on my way to Stella’s which is right up the street when I saw the sign that says ā€œBrooklyn Pizza. Being from Brooklynnn, I decided to stop in. This place has a wide variety of pizza hot and ready. I was actually impressed. It’s hard to impress me because I live 30 seconds away from the famous Williamsburg Pizza shop. The young lady waiting was very nice and courteous with a smile. I got a Sicilian slice with extra cheese and it was ready rather fast. It was hot, cheesy and the crust had just the right crunch. Not bad for a pizza joint in Jersey city. Nice part also is that they don’t close until 3am, and if you know anything about Jersey, a 3am closing time is like a anomaly in the system. So depending on which direction I’m coming from on Grove street will make the determination on which one of the two pizza joints I stop in. They both serve really good food.

Better than almost any pizza in New York. The dough was good, and had more texture than your average NY Pizza that’s usually just paper thin. The sauce was well seasoned. It was full of flavor, and it tasted very good. The toppings were freshly prepared, and in the right amounts. Not too much, not too little. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I’m a professional chef and baker who makes my own pizza, and it’s almost impossible to beat. That being said, I’m difficult to impress. So 4 stars is really saying something good. A great, hearty, flavorful pizza. Check it out! Try their Sausage & Pepperoni.

Have to agree with other reviews that the pizza looks pretty good here. My issue revolves around two items. Had a gyro a few weeks ago and I'm not fond of the pita bread they use - way too thick for my taste. Today I ordered a burger and asked for tomato, lettuce and cheese as asked for tomato, lettuce, cheese and onion as my topping. When my food was rung up the register said "cheeseburger and fries" as my order. I hadn't really ordered any fries, but given what the register stated I figured they must come with the order (which has happened at some other establishment I've ordered from). I asked about the fries and the lady at the register stated it was "just the way the register is programmed". Given the cheeseburger cost $13 it wouldn't be a bad idea if they did include fries at no cost in the future, but that wasn't my real issue. I get back to work and pull out my burger and it has mayo and ketchup layered on it! I didn't ask for this and certainly would never combine the two, but for a cook to assume he can place any condiments he desires on my food without asking me is unacceptable. To add insult to injury, the burger was really disappointing which is a hard thing to do and I'll never order any sort of sandwich from them in the future. Warning, look at your order if it comes bagged up before you exit...

Calling a spade a spade. I am not sure what happened to this place, they used to be very good. From the numerous pizza places in my immediate area, they were our go to spot for quick, fresh quality pizza. My past three orders however have been very disappointing. Their previously high level of pizza has diminshed to the point were after tonight I will never order from them again. I doubt they use canned pizza sauce, but they might as well because thats what it tastes like now. The dough is stretchy and the cheese is not, when it used to be the other way around. And each of my past three orders has been delivered incomplete (missing items ordered). Not only has the food quality dissappeared, and the delivery been way off, after contacting them on three different occasions about these same challenges, ownership seems oblivious. Maybe they have enough business where they dont need mine, or maybe they just dont care. As the saying goes, three strikes your out; theres plenty of...
