Nanas Deli & Breakfast — Restaurant in Jersey City

The Chicken Salad Sandwich seemed promising, but the way it was put together was not very good. The Rye bread top slice had a cut out around the boundary of the whole crust, so the sandwich completely fell apart when i pulled it out. That slice should not have been used on a sandwich. Especially a salad sandwich. I ate most of the sandwich off the foil with the fork.

I also asked for oil and vinegar to be added to my sandwich, but I didn't see or taste any vinegar until the last bite of the last corner of the sandwich. Maybe 1/10 of the sandwich had vinegar, and that last bite tasted great. I really wish it was added throughout.

The fork was for the coleslaw, but I didn't eat it because it was warm...I do not know how long it was left out of the fridge but since it looked like it had mayo, I took one bite and immediately stopped chewing as soon as I felt how warm it was...that could make someone sick. Please make sure to keep the coleslaw chilled until...

I've been wanting to try this place for some time. I'll have to go back and try something else. I went for my first visit and was encouraged to get a Tuna sandwich. The Tuna, while very tasty, would have been better on it's own. The bread was not good. The lettuce, tomato, and onion added nothing (0). They didn't give me any pickles on the side. What real deli doesn't give pickles? Maybe, another bread? Maybe, no lettuce and tomato next time? Maybe, just tuna on its own with a soup?! I guess I should try the Pastrami next? It's pricey. No daily...

I bought the yogurt parfait bowl today. Found two broken plastic pieces in the mix- unfortunately I bit into one, which was pretty sharp. Then while searching found another long one. I went back and returned along with the broken pieces I found inside the bowl. Dont think the manager realized the seriousness of the issue. I dont think I will ever go back or will ever recommend...
