My husband and I visited The Parisian for the first time last week. We sat at the bar, because we were only getting appetizers and didn't want to take up a table for that. The bartender was decent - perhaps a tad condescending, but otherwise nice. She was attentive until we got our food, then disappeared to the other end of the bar and didn't return for a long time. We finished our appetizers and waited to order dessert. And waited. And waited. There was a young man with "frosted tips" behind the bar and another who came and went (tall with dark hair), and we couldn't get their attention either. Finally, a different guy wandered behind the bar and he checked on us to take our dessert order.
Now for the food - we started with the Soup du Jour, which was butternut squash. It was amazing! So creamy and delicious. Next, I had the Blue Cheese Mussels - probably the best mussels I've ever had, and so unique. My husband had the Hot Foie Gras and he loved that. It was pretty high priced for an appetizer, but it's a rare treat. We split an order of the Pomme Frites, which were yummy on their own. But dipped in the blue cheese sauce from my mussels? So good!
The only disappointment was the Chocolate Pot de Creme, and that may just be because I'm spoiled. This version is served cold with whipped cream on top. There's a restaurant in Nantucket called Languedoc that serves it warm with a tiny pitcher of cream to pour on top. The chocolate part is creamier at Languedoc too. If I'd never had the one in Nantucket, I might have been more impressed with this version at the Parisian.
The ambiance is lovely, very authentic. On Thursdays, they have live jazz, and that really added to the romantic atmosphere. We'll definitely go back and probably order all the same things, with the exception of...
Read moreWe stumbled into this restaurant and were impressed by the hedge-enclosed outdoor patio, so we wanted to return. On a beautiful Monday evening, we decided to give it a try. The sun was setting, the weather was awesome, and the mood was right. We were welcomed to take any table as we were the first guests of the evening. The wine list had many choices- we chose a lovely rose to suit the mood. The waiter brought a chalkboard of the specials of the evening. We requested a basket of bread to relax and enjoy the wine and the weather. They graciously accepted our slow-paced evening. I am one of those pesky vegetarians, and I believe French cuisine is the toughest for those of my ilk. But the waiter recommended a vegetarian platter, while my sister ordered the sea bass; we shared a spring salad. The dessert selection was so tempting we wanted to start with those. The sea bass was a generous portion served over a sweet potato base that my sister loved, except that the serving was so generous that she could only finish half. My choice was also delicious with ratatouille and perfectly cooked vegetables. I cleaned my plate. We would have loved to try the desserts, but we were too full. I felt sorry for those guests who chose to dine inside on such a beautiful evening until I went inside. I was surprised to find it not overly air conditioned, as many restaurants are, and so intimate inside, with couches around tables, that I promised myself to return to enjoy the indoor experience as well. I would recommend this restaurant to all as a hidden gem in a shopping mall, that far belies its quality, service...

The Parisian Restaurant & Wine Bar is not just a place to dine but an experience that makes you feel seen, valued, and comfortable. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance exuded warmth and inclusivity. The staff’s attentiveness was exceptional—they patiently explained the menu, accommodated sensory preferences, and ensured I felt at ease throughout my visit.
As someone on the autism spectrum, I deeply appreciated their subtle but meaningful efforts to create a sensory-friendly environment. The lighting was soft and inviting, the background music was unobtrusive, and the layout allowed for plenty of personal space. These small but crucial details made a significant difference.
The food? Simply divine. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, with flavors that danced on the palate without overwhelming the senses. Their wine selection was equally impressive, with the staff offering thoughtful recommendations tailored to my preferences.
A fun fact about The Parisian is that it’s housed in a historic building once frequented by local artists, adding an extra layer of charm to its already vibrant atmosphere. You can almost feel the creative energy lingering in the air.
The Parisian isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a haven where everyone is welcomed and celebrated. I’ll cherish my time there and can’t wait to return.🐘🦣🦏🦒🐅🦛𓆉𓆝𓆟 𓆞 𓆝...
