We’ve been here about two years ago and no issues. Today we drove 1 1/2 hours to celebrate a birthday for a family member. The moment we walked in, we were carrying two birthday cakes. We asked our server if she could help us keep the cakes cool while we ate. She replied “we don’t do that we don’t have room in our freezer” I said that’s fine, can you place them under the counter to keep them out of the sun. She said, “I guess”. My mother asked the server if they made mixed drinks. The server said “beer and wine only”. My mother then asked if they could make a Mimosa, to which the server repeated herself more forcefully, “beer and wine only”. A culmination of things made us very uncomfortable. The wait/server staff made us feel as if we were battered spouses and had to walk on eggshells. We were even joking at our table about being at the themed restaurant “Karen’s” where the wait staff is rude to you on purpose. At one point, while eating our meals, we noticed the same waitress yelling at another family over the balcony that faced the parking lot. I can’t say anything negative about the food. It just seemed like the entire staff with the exclusion of the two buss boys who were more than personable and pleasant, “woke up on the wrong side of the bed”. It did not seem as if the wait/server staff had any interest in...
Read moreHad to try this place out for the atmosphere...and it didn't disappoint! Parking spots were tight for a large SUV, as the spots are definitely geared towards compact cars and small SUVs. Menu selection seemed small, but I'd rather a few great foods, then a lot of options and bad food. Kids playground is definitely geared towards larger children (ages 5+) as we brought our 2 year old and he was being run over by the larger kids. There was a mini golf course with 2 separate 18-hole mini courses, which we didn't do this time, but we will definitely be back to try it out! For 2pm on a Saturday, there weren't a lot of people. The people that were there, were all families with kids. So I'm assuming it gets busier at night for the mini golf. As for the food: Bbq Chicken sandwich was flavorful and the piece of chicken was very large. Sweet potato fries were basic in flavor but still good. Smashed classic burger was so good, especially the bacon jam on it! Regular french fries came with it and tasted like frozen fries that were undercooked and a bit hard. Also got a side of coleslaw, which was swimming in mayo (which I loved, but I understand that being awful to some people). Overall, definitely a place I'd recommend, especially for the burger, date nights, or if...
Read moreWe went there for the first time ever tonight for my daughters 11th birthday. We started out eating before playing mini golf. The resteraunt is outdoor covered seating with a beautiful fish tank behind the bar and a great coveted playground for the kids to play while they wait for dinner. The food selection is what you would expect from a bar...burgers, wraps, hotdogs etc. You are served on plastic disposable plates, plastic disposabe cups and disposable silverware. TV's are in view on all walls in every direction. My husband had the Chunker burger...loved it. My son had a double bogie...loved it. One daughter had a mahi wrap, raved about it. The birthday girl had a slider...she loved it. I had a hot dog and fries, it was just that-nothing special. The onion rings were HUGE and the portion was gigantic. Lots of local craft bears too on tap. Very family friendly environment. Very clean. Staff is amazing and extremely courteous. The manager heard from our waitress that our daughter had a birthday today so he made sure to come over and tell us about the discounts available for birthdays for mini golf...which we greatly appreciated. atmosphere A+, value for what you get A+++, Taste of food A, Atmosphere and fun experience A++++++++!! Will...
