Words can't describe this place. My brother and I came out to here on a whim as it's our last night here and the place before was a bit of a bust. But like they say third time is a charm. Let me tell you this place is an absolute charm! It was busy but we seated by the bar which was perfect. We've never been here before so we decided to try out something new. Let's just say we're so glad we did. It's quite a read but I think it's worth it. Let's get to it shall we?
Getting started with the service, absolutely impeccable. There are no words. Forgive me if I misspell her name. But we had server named Adira. From the beginning she was wonderful. Helped us make some choices and they were phenomenal. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. It was decently busy and she had a full section but she was attentive and just all around wonderful! Not to mention she went absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!!! I'm thee most forgetful person. I swore I had my car keys and we had left. As we were walking here she comes running to give me my keys. She is an absolute treasure of a person!!!!
On to the food. She gave us pretzel bread which was wonderful it smelled just as good as it looked. Crunchy crust and soft inside. It was perfect! We got the brussel sprouts as an app. They were delicious. Crispy, savory, with a to die for peanut sauce, burnt pieces were amazing. They are an absolute must!!!! Main dishes. My brother got the short rib risotto and I got the spaghetti and meatballs. The risotto was to die for! Creamy, cheesey, short ribs were so tender and flavorful. Absolutely perfection. Spaghetti and meatballs were wonderful. The meatballs are made in house, sauce was wonderful, and pasta cooked perfectly. Now on to a sweet note. Dessert! We got the s'more budino. Just wow. It's like you're transported to a lake house on a summer night next to a bonfire. Toasty marshmallow goodness with layers of custard it's absolutely must have!
Drinks were delicious as well. My brother had the cranberry sangria an I had the blood orange pineapple sangria as well. Both very much refreshing.
Atmosphere was wonderful. They were quite busy but it wasn't so loud you couldn't have a conversation. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Definitely a place worth coming to. It's a little on the pricey side but damn is it worth...
Read moreAs a diner with high expectations for Restaurant Week experiences, I had high hopes for this establishment. Unfortunately, my visit turned into a frustrating exercise in poor service, miscommunication, and lackluster food quality.
I had ordered from their Restaurant Week menu for a to-go meal, a feature prominently advertised on the Restaurant Week website. However, upon arriving to pick up my order, I was informed that to-go orders for Restaurant Week were not being honored, despite the clear information online stating otherwise. This, of course, was my first red flag.
What followed was a lengthy and entirely avoidable delay. After waiting for nearly an hour, I was forced to pack my own order into take-out boxes — a task I certainly did not expect to undertake in a restaurant that aspires to be considered high-end. To add insult to injury, the bartender seemed oblivious to the fact that I had ordered from the Restaurant Week menu, despite my clear requests and presentation of both my selections and the items in my to-go bag. Only after some back-and-forth did she begrudgingly adjust the bill to reflect the correct discount.
The service — or lack thereof — was truly the most disappointing part of the experience. It became abundantly clear that the staff either did not understand the importance of hospitality or simply chose not to prioritize it. The bartender's dismissive attitude and lack of communication left me questioning whether this establishment values its guests or even understands the concept of customer care.
As for the food itself, it was competent, but unremarkable. While I appreciate the effort, it was evident that the establishment is attempting to present itself as something more refined than it truly is. The culinary execution fell short of the standard one might expect for a place attempting to participate in an event like Restaurant Week.
Ultimately, this restaurant missed the mark in nearly every category — from service and accuracy to the quality of the meal itself. If this is how they treat guests during a week dedicated to showcasing the best of their offerings, I can only imagine how little effort is put into a regular...
Read moreUsually, I love Coopers (my husband and I are members and even had our wedding rehearsal brunch here — so we truly believe in this brand and have spent thousands here over the years), but dining with them last night was a NIGHTMARE and I have to speak on it because the staff truly brushed us off last night and delivered the worst quality service I’ve ever seen. Our reservation was at 8 and we didn’t get brought up till 8:40 pm. I had to check in with the host 3 TIMES to see what was going on. Seeing people who were walk ins constantly go before us with the same party number just didn’t make sense. Second time I ask, he said it was because parties of two aren’t leaving upstairs. Third time I ask 15 mins later he looks at the other hosts and says — “how did we miss them??” After we were brought up, our waiter took our order after us sitting at the table for 15 mins and ends up bringing my husbands food at 9:20, but ONLY my husband’s food. They told us the kitchen’s system was down, but here’s the kicker — people were seated in the section after us and had their food. It’s now almost 10pm and I was the only one in my section without food until I asked a manager to come over. The manager proceeds to apologize and hand us expired coupons for appetizers and desserts next time we’re in. Still, no food. Our waiter was nowhere to be found and so even after the manager visited our table I had to ask another waiter to check on the food. Food didn’t come till 10 pm and everyone in our section except for one table (even people who arrived after us) were gone. I’ve never been frustrated with a restaurants service like I was last night. We tried to be compassionate about all the mishaps and challenges the staff was up against, but what’s unfortunate is that I didn’t look around and see other customers sharing my horrible customer service experience. Just me: waiting over an hour for my food with no waiter checking in as to what else he can do in the meantime. I’m not sure what happened to this place, but you just might have lost two of your most loyal...
