Slideshow Sliders — Restaurant in Kansas City

Went to the Parlor for an early Father's Day lunch. Brother got Sidos, I got Sura, Father and Sister went to Slideshow. Brother and I both had our food and managed to finish eating before the food from Slideshow was ever ready. Father tried to tip the worker in case it would speed things up, got no reaction not even a thank you. His expensive Truffle fries were finished in 15 minutes while the sliders weren't done for another 30 minutes. He asked if he could grab his fries earlier than the sliders, but the employee told him he couldn't have them until his whole order was complete. So, needless to say his fries were cold by the 45 minute mark when they finally got their sliders and hardly edible by that point. They said the sliders were good in the end, but the experience ruined our Father's Day. Also, don't know if the owner/operator is hard of hearing or what, but their music was...

The fig and goat cheese sliders are my go to!! Truffle fries are AMAZING. The caprese? AMAZING. I have yet to be let down by this place. Pretty decent burgers but small for the price and paying almost $10 for a side of fries you’d expect the condiments (ranch,BBQ) to be complimentary but they’re not… guy in the the kitchen was not very inviting or friendly to communicate with either. love the parlor atmosphere but I’d check out some other spots in here for a better quality...
