I had a client very generously gift me a dozen pastries from this place and I fell in love. They go to the one in Pearland. I visited the one in Katy Asia Town. Parking can be difficult depending on the time of day. It took me about 10 minutes to find a good spot...so you'll need toplan accordingly.
This was my first official visit and it's overwhelming. The line to the register was clearly marked, but it's a very small area that gets crowded easily. It has a very fast paced vibe so if you want to stroll and look at all the different choices, be prepared to be passed by and even feel a little rushed or like your inconveniencing others who know exactly what they want.
When you walk in there is a pastry cabinet immediately in front of you. The line to check out is clearly marked to your right. But the tray and tongs you need Directly to your left as you enter the door. It's such a small area they should probably put a giant arrow saying start here so you know where begin. They could also put the trays either on top of or next to the very first cabinet you see as you walk in, but I don't think there is space for that.
There is no indoor seating, which is a bummer. But in a space this small it wouldn't be comfortable, even if there were. I'm not sure what the other locations look like. Again, I visited the one in Katy..
There is so much to choose from and everything is so delicious! I tried the egg and cheese croissant: it's to die for but very messy because the croissant is actually very very flaky! The egg was wonderful. The cheese is delicious. I also had some sort of long chocolate filled pastry
I bought the peanut butter crumbles for my sons & a chocolate Nutella croissant for my husband. I also had a danish of sorts with chocolate in it. It was amazing...see pics & sorry I had already eaten half of mine!
The cashier's name was Sunny and she was great! She offered me a taste of the peach tea; unfortunately, it was after I had already paid, but she let me go ahead 'purchase without re-entering the line. It was delicious!
I had downloaded the app after I was gifted the delicious treats... so I missed out on a couple of deals that I could've taken advantage of, so don't...
Read moreParis Baguette in Katy is like stepping into a pastry wonderland where calories don’t count and dreams are made of butter and sugar. The moment you walk in, the sight of those perfectly golden croissants and delicate cakes will have you seriously considering whether you should just move in and make this place your permanent address.
Let’s talk pastries. The croissants here are so flaky, they could probably double as a snow globe if you shook them hard enough. But why would you want to do that when you can just eat them? One bite and you’ll understand why the French are so happy—they’re clearly powered by these buttery wonders.
The cakes are little masterpieces, so beautiful you’ll hesitate to cut into them...for about 10 seconds. Then you’ll dive in and realize they taste even better than they look. The strawberry cake is so light and airy, I’m convinced it was whipped up by a team of pastry angels. If desserts were supermodels, this one would be strutting down the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
And the breads? Let’s just say I went in for a baguette and left with a full-on baguette baby. It’s that good. The crust has that perfect crackle, and the inside is so soft you’ll want to use it as a pillow. But, you know, a delicious, edible pillow.
The staff here are as sweet as the pastries, always ready to recommend their favorites or sneak you an extra sample.
In summary, Paris Baguette is not just a bakery; it’s a portal to carb heaven. Whether you’re in the mood for a pastry, cake, or just some really good bread, this is your place. But be warned: one visit and you’ll be hooked. Your diet doesn’t...
Read moreFood: was SO underwhelming. Dry and tasteless. My husband and I bought a large amount of savory and sweet pastries to try. The only good one was the crème Brulé pastry. The worst was the almond croissant. We also got the ham and Swiss sandwich. Not bad but there was nothing on it that said there was mustard. I absolutely hate mustard so I had to throw mine away. Is you take away the mustard, it would be too bad.
Customer service: ….this is was really stressed me out. I have severe health conditions and have little to no immune system. I rarely eat out because of the risk of germs/cross contamination and more. Seeing that this place allowed you to serve your own food, I didn’t mind. When you go to the counter with your items, they put them in a box for you. Here’s the problem I had: the girl opened the box and pressed down with her dirty bare hands, then grabs a liner to go inside and pressed it down again with her bare unwashed hands then set our pastries on top of what she touched. She’s dealing with tons of costumers before me and touching their tongs before us. That can easily cause contamination. They either need to wear gloves or use the tongs to press the paper down. Even for the average person without an illness would think this is gross.
Because of this, I went home and had to scrape off the bottoms of all of our pastries that touched the paper because I can’t risk getting sick. Wont be coming back. And if I do for some crazy reason, I’ll ask to put my own items in my own box.
The store: very clean overall and pastries laid out...
