I came here one day very determined to find a dress. Their store had some cute dresses I must confess but it's the customer service that made me want to write this review.
The first time I came I met the owner. She seemed helpful at first but I few minutes in, I figured out that she was toooo helpful. She would look at dresses for me! She would ask if I liked the dress, I would say NO, then she would ask why, and I said BECAUSE I JUST DONT. I tired to be keep my calm but I already knew I didn't like her. She does the most when it comes to trying on the dresses w/ the "no zip" rule and she does the most when she takes your pictures, "HEAD UP, HANDS ON YOUR HIPS, THE RED DOT!"
The second time I came, she wasn't there! It was a good experience when she was gone and a lot of customers were there. The second visit is when I found my perfect dress, but didn't have my money on me so I told them I would be back.
The third time I came, lol, things went crazy. I tired to put a $300 down payment for the dress TWICE on my moms card & both times she said the card declined. I was on the phone w/ my dad and he said he would pay everything in full...his card declined too. That's when I knew the machine was bad because my dads card doesn't decline. So she suggested that we just charge $150 and it went through. I left, happy that I'll get my dress. Little did I know that after I spoke about the incident with my mom she checked her account activity and the $300 went into her account after all. WE WENT BACK SO FAST. When we confronted her she got so defensive saying she would neverrr steal money, she showed us the receipt that said decline, so my mom was working it out with her bank on the phone. THATS WHEN I THOUGHT I SHOULD GIVE HER SOME ADVICE. I TOLD HER THAT SHE SHOULD REALLY CHILL BECAUSE IVE HEARD SOME BAD THINGS ABOUT HER. I JUST WANTED TO HELP HER BUSINESS BUT SHE TOOK IT TO HEART AND STARTED CRYING. LOL, I DIDNT FEEL BAD BECAUSE SHES A RUDE PERSON AND AFTER READING EVERYONE ELSES REVIEWS I FEEL LIKE SHE DESERVED IT. EVEN HER COWOKERS DONT LIKE HER, ONE OF THEM STRAIGHT UP TOLD ME. SHE GOT INTO A BIG ARGUEMENT WITH MY MOM, LOL, AND MY MOM ENDED UP CURSING HER OUT WHICH WAS ENTERTAING TO WATCH. SHE THREATENED TO REFUND MY DRESS BUT SHE BETTER NOT OR THERE WILL BE A HUGE PROBLEM. EVEN THOUGH WE BROKE HER DOWN TO TEARS I DONT FEEL BAD AT ALL. SOMEONE NEEDED TO TELL HER THAT SHES A HOT MESS TO HER CUSTOMERS!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT SHE NEEDS TO GET THAT MACHINE FIXED SO SHE DOESNT CHARGE SOMEONE MORE THAN THEY NEED TO!
So yea, my advice would be to come when she's not there. Like literally look and if you see and old, blonde lady that tries to dress young- run. If you don't come on in!
Hopefully since I called her out...
Read moreFirst of all, let me just say, they have gorgeous dresses here!! Let me also start out by saying, I absolutely hate leaving any sort of bad reviews anywhere; but this shop was down right terrible. She helped my friend on the more petite side pick out all sorts of dresses while making her extremely uncomfortable. I believe she was too comfortable with feeling up my friends body and it came off as extremely creepy, unprofessional, and uncalled for. Both my friend and I got VERY uncomfortable vibes almost immediately upon entering the store. The blonde saleswoman was extremely catering, borderline obsessive, to my smaller friend; meanwhile gave me two mediocre, grandma Sunday church type dresses. My friend was not allowed to make any suggestions to what she (the paying customer) wanted, nor was she allowed to touch any dress that she didn’t specifically give to her. Both of us found the “managers” attitude and persona to be very off putting, rude, harsh, and honesty very child like for an old wrinkled women who looks as though she should be retiring. Not to mention, another customer who happened to be in the store at the same time as us, was obviously annoyed at the woman’s over bearing, loud, pushy and obnoxious way, when she was continuously harassed, as she was trying to change, by the owner while she was standing outside the door. The woman finally yelled, “WHAT?!” as she was just not left alone to change in peace. All in all, based off what we saw and experienced for ourselves in the store, along with these horrendous but very accurate reviews, we feel as though this women should be let go asap. It is painfully apparent that her extreme lack of accountability displayed in her “replies” proves she will never change her poor service skills, as all she can seem to do is speak condescendingly to bad reviews, or just fully deny them. Truly a disappointment since yet again,...
Read moreThe owner of the store was the RUDEST CREATURE ON THE PLANET. If you want someone else's opinion crammed down your throat, this is the place to go. From the moment my mother and I walked into the store we got dirty glances from her. She didn't even ask what styles I was interested in and then proceeded to pick out dress styles she thought would suit me. Any opposition I had to trying on certain dresses was dismissed abruptly and she tried her hardest to keep me from trying on the one dress I liked. When I didn't want to try any others she resorted to the catalogs to show me more of the dress style I said I didn't want. When my mother tried to look through the catalog the lady INSTANTLY closed it. As I was headed to the fitting room I passed a woman and her daughter who was also looking for a prom dress and they clearly weren't pleased with the dress that was being forced upon them. They tried to politely tell the woman but she refused to take no for an answer and insisted that they buy the dress. When I came out the fitting room the woman made a disgusted face! Then she started screaming that I broke the zipper and made a scene in front of the whole store saying she knew I was too big for the dress even though I wear size 6 and the dress (which was a 6) fit perfectly. She started screaming at my mother telling her we needed to purchase the dress and at that point I grabbed her and we walked out with the lady still making the ugliest most...
