My husband and I met at this Subway at 7:20 pm (Subway clearly states that they close at 8:00 pm). I arrived first and walked inside at 7:20. The manager, Hector LOCKS the door behind me. My husband arrived 4 minutes later at 7:24. I asked if he could let my husband in and he said yes. We ordered and got our food from Fernando (who made a quality sandwich by the way). Hector was in the back doing something. As we were checking out, we asked Fernando politely if we could have 5 minutes to eat our food. (This is about 7:35). Fernando replied “ of course! I will be here to clean up. Eat and enjoy”. Hector, the manager, comes out of the back and starts yelling at my husband and I saying we cannot stay because they are closed. It was 7:35! Fernando tried to talk to him to allow us to stay. Hector, the manager, got so mad, he stormed out at 7:45 and left Fernando to clean up all by himself. We apologized to Fernando, but he said “sit and eat! It is ok!” My husband and I finished eating at 7:50 and left tipping Fernando for his kindness. Fernando, you will make a great manager some day! Today I placed an order online and went into pick it up just to be told that they didn't have any cheese and they had already made the subs. I told the guy that I wanted to cancel the order then. I prefer cheese on my subs and I paid extra for it. I was very nice and asked him if he could Please cancel my order. He got upset and said i already made your subs. In a very angry tone he said You should call in your order next time instead of ordering online. He then told me that he needed to call his manager in to cancel the order he wouldn't call her because it was her day off. He said I would have to call tomorrow to cancel. I think this is really ridiculous that you only have 1 person working and they can't do the crucial functions of the job. Read moreIf negative stars were a thing, I'd be giving them here! My son and I went in to order. The woman was rude from the start! I told her we would need 3 sandwiches and a pizza. Gave her my first sandwich order and told her I wanted pepper jack cheese instead of provolone. She said no, it comes with provolone. I very nicely said yes, I understand that but I'd like pepper Jack instead. You'd have thought I'd asked her to lasso the moon! She eventually made my sandwich the way I asked and then started doing something else with her back to us. After a few minutes she turned around and said "what you want now!". I told her we still needed 2 more sandwiches. She rolled her eyes and seriously glared at me the whole time she was making our other sandwiches.
