I've always enjoyed getting lunch here. The ingredients are always been fresh and cold, with a nice assortment of veggies and plenty of sliced chicken, pork, and beef, noodles, etc. to build your bowl.
I'd be happier if the noodles were closer to the end of the ingredients line, as piling the jalapenos and cilantro on the top of the wobbly pile of noodles is a bit of a trick. Not a problem is there's no line of folks behind you waiting for you to complete your creation, but an annoyance when the place is busy.
The various sauces, and the posted recipes give you a good place to start your creation, although there's plenty of variety if you want to try something more like a curry, or heavy on the ginger, for instance.
Once your food is on the BBQ grill, they have a great hot sauce, and the chefs will ask if you want any. I like my food spicy, and generally, one scoop of hot sauce is perfect for me. I've gone with two scoops on occasion, but that tends to result in a bit of a sweating forehead. Either way, the...
Read moreToday we enjoyed a meal at this place and the staff went above and beyond. I am not supposed to have gluten and when I saw everybody cooking it on the grill I was afraid to ask for it to be cleaned off and was about ready to take what was ever coming to me. I said please don't add any extra sausage because I'm allergic to a lot of things I just did lemon and garlic and to that the three gentlemen replied by immediately turning around finishing what was on the grill before adding my food to it and then cleaning it before my very eyes so that there would be no accidental allergies and no gluten contamination. I think them and said the rest of the world didn't really take it seriously and so I was afraid to ask they replied to me that I deserve that to be done with a smile on their face! It was refreshing and wonderful and they joked with me and made me feel special. They took care of my entire family and the whole thing was just an...
Read moreWhile the restaurant was clean and quick to seat it lacked ingredients and ironically, the ability to actually customize the food. There were less than ten vegetable selections, only soy oil for as an oil based ingredient, and one wok. Several meals were prepared simultaneously without cleaning the grill. I watched 20 preparations and no cleaning. To compensate for burned ingredients from so many preparations, they pushed the house teriyaki sauce very hard in addition to customer's own sauce presentation: they tried to deglaze previous cooking with that sauce. The food was filled with charred remnants, therefore lacking in flavor, and 4 out of 5 our family's meals were overdone as the cooks talked amongst themselves making too many trips around the grill. There was no water served. The meso soup was good. The prices were high: $80 before tip with no adult beverages for two adults and three children. We...
