EDIT - I see that girl isn't working there anymore. We had to stop in out of necessity and the lunch staff was AMAZING. They had no issue with my well-behaved service dog and even gave us some extra tots. Thank you for improving your staff!! Evening crew wasn't as "on top of it" the next time we were in, but the lunch staff recently was phenomenal!

DON'T BRING YOUR SERVICE DOG. I had mine fully under control, giving him appropriate commands and control while he is in training and working through a few public access items. He still gets excited when people approach but I had him handled and he never invaded anyone's space or caused an issue. My son got up to use the restroom and my service dog made a little yip to alert me that my child walked off, and out of nowhere this awful young woman came from the back and told me he can't be there and they I need to remove him. I told her he is my service dog, which is very obvious. She glared at me for like 10 seconds, and when I stared back at her saying nothing she then rolled her eyes, clearly not believing me, and then huffed away to throw a fit behind the counter about it. The whole restaurant was staring and whispering and rolling their eyes at us too like I was lying. She humiliated me in front of like 20 other people and then walked away leaving me in the mess. I walked up to the counter to talk to the manager to request an apology from her and he said she's hiding in the back. I am disabled and doing my best, and the last thing I need is to deal with this kind of ignorance while out grabbing a quick bite to eat with my family. If he was causing an issue I would have removed him myself before she even noticed. I can tell when a situation isn't ideal and always opt out of the space myself before anyone else has even clued in, but (and I will reiterate) he was fully under control here and performing his duties well. In addition, Washington is not a state which requires a service animal to have completed their "public access" or "good canine citizen" training before being allowed to go on the job, and yet I am training him for this anyway to ensure he IS a good citizen. Public access is one of those steps in the training, and I am fully legally allowed to enter these spaces to utilize their services and/or train my service animal. Washington only requires that I answer two questions (and a business is not even allowed to ask them) and those are: Do I have a federally recognized disability? And does the animal perform a function which helps with that? I can answer yes to both of those items and do not have to explain myself even that far, let alone further, and I can take my service animal anywhere I want if he is under control, regardless of flippant and uneducated staff. My service animal was even wearing his service halter that has a big tag defining him as a service animal! Which also isn't a legal requirement. Educate yourselves...
Read moreIf I could give their service negative stars, I would! We got there at about 645pm. The dining room was closed... So we went thru the drive-thru. TO start the kid ( Jason ) taking our order seemed annoyed that we were ordering food, to begin with, then couldn't seem to understand our pretty simple order. 1 taco salad with ranch, sour cream, 1000 island, salsa on the side, and one $5 after 5 pm special. However, he got the special all wrong and seemed very annoyed that we wanted him to fix the nearly $40 order. After several attempts, he finally got it right. $20.02 sounds much better! Then he hands us our food, and I check to make sure it's all there and correct. 3 soft tacos and a crisp meat burrito, check. Taco salad, sour cream, 1000 island, NO ranch, and salsa is on the salad...🙄so I handed the kid back my salad and let him know that I asked for the salsa on the side. He then proceeds to tell me that's not salsa. It's tomatoes and onions... I informed him that salsa Fresca is tomatoes and I can't have onions, that's why I asked for it on the side. He rolls his eyes and tells me he needs to talk to a manager... He disappears and comes back with a salad that's still got no ranch and had tomatoes. I was beyond frustrated and just left. This was by far the worst service I've had just about anywhere!!! I will not eat here again! Food was mediocre at best... the service was...
Read moreJUST moved into a new house yesterday and needed some dinner. Says they close at 8pm but we came at 7:20 and they were already closed with lights off. We weren't sure if they were just doing drive through because we're from the other side of the mountain were everything stays open till midnight or later, and do drive through till around 3am. As we pulled up to the speaker, two guys just laughed and walked away from the windows as we pulled through. I've worked in fast food and it's VERY unprofessional to close up 30 minutes before actual time of closing, more acceptable to do it 10-15 minutes before but 30-40 minutes before, absolutely not. Change your time of closing, if you're going to close 30 minutes early. I've lived in Kennewick for about 8 months now and was excited tonight to hear of a taco time for the first time, but was extremely irritated when I went to get food and it was closed. Not to mention, one of the guys working was literally just sitting at the drive-thru window playing on his phone till he saw us pull around, then he got up started laughing and walked away. Guess I won't be getting Taco time anytime soon as I found this so unprofessional...
