Chapala Express 2 Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Kennewick

I've gotten this macho burrito a few times and I've never been so disappointed. I actually enjoy rice AND BEANS but apparently this time no one could be bothered to say anything about not having beans and this is what I got.

Honestly if you would have been honest and said you were out I would have understood, and I WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN ANYTHING TODAY, and you wouldn't have this bad review I hope everyone reads.

but choosing to think I wouldn't care about you deciding to substitute the beans with rice... that's not okay, I don't want the rice without the beans....

especially when the menu says I paid for rice and beans with a burrito with ingredients, not just filled with rice and barely any shredded beef in the burrito.

Honestly today was the worst food I've had in years because I would never want just shredded beef and rice in a burrito.......

now I doubt I'll be returning or telling anyone else to go because selling me the food and hoping I wasn't going to complaining seems to be what you were hoping for.

So I will happily be talking about my bad experience in the future with...

The food is always good, I love their salsa, I think its a benchmark for me when I try other restaurants salsa, so good. I literally could live off their chips and salsa if given the option or if health permitted it.

I love the veggie burrito, our family orders the large containers of rice and beans often, our kids love it. Their chimichangas and tamales are good. One time I ordered from DoorDash (totally another story, but I use Uber Eats now after this incident) and the driver delivered half our food to someone else, Door Dash wouldn't do a "dang thing" and the delivery driver was not helpful and basically ghosted me after I texted him the issue. I let the Restaurant know, the manager checked it, he was awesome, totally made it right, and got us our food. After that I know they are people of integrity and care about offering customers good service. Also I just order direct from their website now, the fee is less or the same and the Restaurant is so fast to deliver. Thanks Chapala Express 2! We will keep...

Luckily the place wasn't packed @ 1p.m. Either we beat the lunch crowd or they came before us. Because the food was so delicious I can't imagine this place ever not being busy. The fajita burrito which came with a side of refried beans , some greens and rice for $11.49 was well worth every dime. So yummy. Wrap "taco truck style" burrito @ $11.99, and that was it, just a big burrito sitting on a plate (nothing else) but my friend really enjoyed it and said she'll definitely return for more. Last friend ordered the enchilada rancheras, $11.59 with a side of beans, rice and small greens. She also left with a happy , satisfying tummy and is looking forward to returning. We noticed as we were leaving that there's a drive thru window too, hence "Express", so that's good to know on days if you want some good Mexican food and don't want to get out and go inside. Service was friendly and the place was clean....
