Where should I start, growing up in the Seattle area where the original teriyaki was born in 1976 When Toshi Kasahara opened his first location in Queen Anne. I would rate this 1 star but since the manager/owner refunded me my full money I give this whole review 2 stars for the following reasons
The average cost for teriyaki in king county is 12-16 for chicken. Here it's 13.89 in a much cheaper county than King.
95% of all teriyaki offer raw fresh salad as a side with rice NOT steamed vegetables. Yet this place by default offers steamed vegetables I have encountered a few odd ball teriyaki places that use the beeer bugg as an excuse why they do that. Brah it's 2024 now
For the price of 13.89 you only get 7-8 oz of meat, literally weighing every ounce plus the steamed vegetables it's definitely feels and looks like an extreme cost cutting measure.
Before anyone makes any excuses go to Seattle area and see for yourself in a county that has much higher living and property expenses. There are many teriyaki places where meat portions is eye balled to more than 7-8 oz and you get an actual salad by default.
After been to over 45 states by car and visited many restaurants particularly the ethnic based genres I seem to notice a pattern. In the smaller towns away from the bigger diversity on the coastal town, the owners really under cut real value for the customer and most local folks do not ever know if they have not traveled to the bigger coastal diverse metropolitan areas.
They use store bought teriyaki sauce instead of making their own.
I would encourage the owners to actually go visit the Seattle to see for themselves how the original teriyaki is to be served from the taste to the portions then improvise and improve based on that important knowledge and experience instead of serving something you seen on the...

I love Chicken Teriyaki, so I've been on a quest to try the best Teriyaki of Tri-Cities after eating the best Chicken Teriyaki i've ever eaten in my life, which was from Chung's Teriyaki in Poulsbo, Washington. The chicken was so soft and tender that nearly melted in my mouth.
I came back to Tri-Cities and wanted to experience the same as I did in Chung's Teriyaki. I found this one out of a list of Teriyaki Near Me on Google and decided to give it a try.
Pros: The Steamed Rice. It was delicious! It was just so soft! The Teriyaki Sauce was soo good as well, it blended well with the soft rice! Easily just as good as Chung's Teriyaki 10/10! Sheesh!
Con: The Chicken. It was MEH! it was tough and dry, just like any other well-done chicken. This chicken was clearly not marinated long enough becuase it just not tender at all.
Pricing: it was around $15. OVERPRICED!!! Chung's Teriyaki was $13 and they make incredible dishes, Chung's easily undercharges!
In conclusion. The Chicken is 2/10 nothing special at all. The rice is 10/10 delicious, the sauce is 10/10 delicious and the side of boiled veggies was ...
Read moreI was in West Pasco for job trading and was excited to find a teriyaki place, however, this place should be closed.
The cost was ridiculous at over $17.00 for 1 small meal. The yakisoba was hard, with a strange garlic flavor, no veggies in it, the chicken was rubbery like it was just microwaved, and the cabbage stuff on the side was over cooked and soggy. They obviously warmed it all up from a batch that was already made because it was ready for me in less than 5 minutes. They have an “award” from 2022, and it’s probably because there are no other teriyaki places around. It took everything in me to eat some protein but it was so chewy that I had to stop because it was bad! Chicken should be moist, and easy to swallow, and I had to spit it out.
I really hope they change some things, because you should never walk into any type of restaurant and see the “cook” sitting down in a chair just waiting for an order!
It was very unclean, you cannot see through the doors, and I should have walked away then, but wanted to give them a chance. Also, they lack in customer service!
I was very disappointed and will never...
