I normally don’t do reviews like this unless it’s worth my time and I feel like I should to possibly help others that may be in a similar situation. First off I made an ā€œappointment ā€œ on batteries plus’s website for Tue at 10am I bring it in and the younger gentleman starts taking a look at it but the way he looked a bit confused like he shouldn’t be working there…idk if he was new or just not very knowledgeable but it made me nervous off the bat, he continues to try and ā€œfigure it outā€ and after 20 min he says I’m good now and prints out an invoice for me to look at (mind you I messed up and thought it was an ipad2 when scheduling but it’s in fact a ipad9 ) price for screen replacement was 99.99 + tax he then tells me it’s a min of up to two day turnaround but could be done sooner if they can get to it earlier…idk what the point of scheduling an appointment online is? Might as well drop it off at your convenience and just wait. I leave and wait for the repair, I call the next morning and they tell me that it’s not been worked on yet but should be done by end of day.. ok cool, 1 hour later they call me to let me know that it is not an iPad 2 but and iPad 9 (my mistake) and the price will double to $199 +tax! AND they don’t have the screen in stock so I would have to wait for them to order it. I then decide that is WAY TOO MUCH when I can get a refurbished one on Amazon for $239… after letting them know I will just pick it up they are fine with my decision. I go into the store and a man that appears to be a manager helps me and gives me back my iPad tells me sorry about that and I tell him it’s ok! I called EZ FIX Cell phone repair and he was able to fit me in for an appointment in one hour has the part in stock and is only $110+tax the man is in shock and says ā€œoh well hopefully they don’t mess it upā€ cause the screens are different (like I wouldn’t confirm it was correct after this?) anyways 2 hours later from leaving their store my son is on the couch happy again able to play his iPad:) Things to take away from this for myself 1: always double check your device before getting quotes 2: always call around (which I normally do) cause there might be better deals and availability As for Batteries Plus 1:please have your employees double check the devices before giving quotes to help confirm it’s correct incase the customer messes up ;) instead of letting the customer know 24 hours later waisting valuable time. 2: LOWER YOUR PRICES in todays market you have to be competitive you don’t want to end up like radio shack..plus repairs SHOULDN’T cost just as much as purchasing a new one thats just bad business. 3: fix the appointment scheduling on the website if that’s not when you are actually fixing the device then disclose that information or take it off completely just a thought. 4: just all around better training/customer service I’m not trying to bash just giving some constructive criticism. You have all the great things posted on your website yet I didn’t experience any of them :(

This is the best place to recycle batteries! The employees are very friendly and kind. When you take your batteries in the first time to recycle, it is free but if you recycle another time and for a while after that you will have to pay a fee which is 1.99 which is a very affordable price to pay for recycling.

I cant remember who fixed my phone, I believe his name was along the lines of Jaiden. He did a great job fixing my phones screen, which was very cracked for a very reasonable price. The service was fast and great. I left photos of my phone before and after below.

Short caveat: Anything that I give 4 or 5 stars is vote of confidence. The reason I recommend this store is that I have been there for 2-4 battery issues and each time my issues were all handled immediately, or diagnosed quickly for me so that I know what I was up against.

Why not 5 stars? Well, it's almost for the same above reasons. The employees that I have dealt with always seemed to be quick and got me a battery or an answer promptly, but even though it was not busy in the store any of the times that I was there, I felt like there wasn't a lot of attention to what I was saying. They seemed to quickly form an opinion of what I wanted and then they went into action without really doing a lot of listening.

For example, I had a remote control that would not work. The employee initially grabbed the remote and looked at the battery then jumped to the conclusion that I needed a new battery and started to pull one out for me. I had to interrupt that process and start to explain that I didn't know if the problem was the battery or not.

I then explained that whenever I try to use it, the remote doesn't work at all, but if I repeately push the volume button, eventually it jumps to life and then I don't have any problems at all with it unless I stop using the remote for a long time. I suggested that if they have a way to test the battery, that it might tell me if the problem was that I needed a battery, or if I might have a problem with my remote and/or device. So he seemed to almost a little reluctantly say, as if it wasn't a normal thing to do, "I guess I could check it with the volt meter." I said, "Great! Exactly, that would be good."

The battery was supposed to be a 3v battery and it was reading 2.88v, which to me seemed like it should be close enough, but he said "that would be considered a 'dead' battery." I then said, "Then why does it seem to work perfectly after I've been pushing buttons for a while? It was only then that he said, "Well, let's go try it on our remote control tester" as he walked over to a self-service unit (that I didn't know they had) that would display an LED light level showing how strong your remote control signal is projecting. It showed a strong signal from the very first button press. It was then that he suggested, and I agreed, that the problem may be in may device's receiver, and not in the remote.

Don't get me wrong--I was happy with the outcome of all of my encounters. I just feel that I should save that 5th star for the day when I see the employee stop, look me in the eye, smile, and listen to what it is that I have to say before jumping to conclusions that may not be the right solution. Other merchants that I have given 5 stars to provide that kind of customer interaction.

In my career(s) I have found that taking a little more time up front keeps you from having to make several attempts to resolve a problem. Reminds me of the saying, "If you don't have time to do it right, when are you going to have time to do it over?"

All that said, I give Batteries+ a positive review. I will continue to use them in the future, and I can, without hesitation, recommend that you give them a try next time you have a battery problem. (I should add that apparently they have other services, but I have not engaged them for things like bulbs or cellphone...

Don't just walk away from this Place... "RUN!!!!!!" šŸš¶ā€āž”ļøI got a $1,900 Samsung Z5 foldable about a month or so ago... and really love it... but!! šŸ˜‚ However... it developed several video Playback issues!! I have been making Movies for about 15 years now (after retiring from Westinghouse Nuclear Division) and wore many hats including Software development... movie making and teaching... šŸ˜‚ The movies I make contain several Videos (that I make)... Pic's and research Articles drawn from the Internet... Well... shortly after getting this phone... I made a smaller (26 min) one about Air Pollution... again... that I have been researching for about 15 years and even have one... hour and 41 min movie... I made several years ago... the latest (smaller one)... went to AL Gore... and I was just revising it... when all these play back sound issues surfaced!!!! 🫣... Well... I went back to AT&T and found out they do not repair phones 😬 They gave me a number to call and for days... I have been "PUSHING BUTTONS... LISTENING TO MUSIC FOR LONG PERIOD'S OF TIME... AND BEING SENT TO ABOUT 6 DIFFERENT COMPANIES!! ... AGAIN... PUSHING BUTTONS AND LISTENING TO MUSIC... AND FINALLY WAS SENT TO BATTERIES PLUS IN KENNEWICK, WA" 🫣 Well folks... "WHAT A JOKE AND TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!" 😬 My Opinion... "Those two Technicians... didn't have... "THE FOGGIEST IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING?!?!?!"" šŸ¤” First Tech... tryed to convince me that the "THUNDERISH SOUNDS IN THE BACKGROUND... WAS THE WIND!!"" 🫣 Well... I've made several videos from that exact location... and there was only a slight breeze!! ... had that been a big wind... I would not have even attempted that Video that would have "WASTED VALUABLE TIME!!!!" ... I'm not that stupid!!!! I tryed to get them to watch the video... because most of the more serious issue's were over half way thru the 26 min Video... "CRACKLING SOUNDS... THUNDERISH BACKGROUND... LOSS OF VOLUME... INCLUDING THE RIGHT STEREO SPEAKER... THAT WOULD COME AND GO... ALONG WITH CRACKLING SOUNDS!!!!"" They refused to watch it... then hooked it to a computer... talked to it for a few seconds... and listened to the playback... and then said... "WE DON'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG?!?!" 🧐 Well... I finally got fed up and left... and they gave me their Managers card with email address... which I found out I couldn't send the file... it was too large to email!! I then replied back asking for a number so I could send the Link from my GD ... Well... it's been several days... haven't heard a word!!!!! 🫣 Today... I finally got some relief!! AT&T... informed me that maybe the better way to go... would be to go the Insurance policy route... if I could pay the deductible... Well... my new phone is already on the way!! Now... for everyone reading this review... you can go to my Youtube channel... public (Earl Penor)... Playlist named "Pollution" ... file name "Our Sick Air R2!!"... put in ear buds... or better still... headset ... and hear how bad those playbacks were!! ... BTW... You will also be "SHOCKED BY THE INFORMATION IN THAT MOVIE!!" 😱 from about 15 years of...
