The Potlatch Bar — Restaurant in Ketchikan

Unless your a local NOT very welcoming or friendly towards tourist… Bartender had less than zero personality… However Ketchikan businesses in general seemed to lack an appreciation for the tourist industry - I’ve looked forward for years to visit Alaska - however, I’ve found better hospitality in Afghanistan than in Ketchikan…. Stateside hospitality has not reached Ketchikan - no wonder the cruise industry is preparing to bypass Ketchikan… it’s establishments like this that hinder economic growth and development in what appears to be an already economic depressed area on the brink...

Great place to sit back and relax. Talk to the locals or the fisherman's stories when they drop in. All bartenders at this place are on spot! They will have every person's orders on the highest priority for fast service. Karaoke Saturday nights starts at 8pm. And I have been visiting this bar for 2-3 years now. Alex is no longer working he's was the #1 bar tender, but be nice and follow good bar standards when visiting cause they don't put up with drama or overly drunk non...

Karaoke night! I popped in as a solo traveler to check out the scene and hear some local talent. The woman who was bartending was very welcoming and kind. This place was really charming in a way that felt like maybe a fun uncle was running the joint.

As someone who enjoys vintage items and prefers things with some patina, I really loved the atmosphere and vibe here, recently painted and had some work done, but didn't lose...
