Dons' Place — Restaurant in Key West

After partying on Duval the 1st couple of nights we needed to find a dive bar that is like what we we're used to at home and we found it in Don's Place. We went there 2 night's in a row and in less than an hour had made news friends and felt accepted by the locals. I know that can be difficult sometimes so we it didn't go unnoticed. We had different bartenders on the nights there but both guys we're outstanding in service and how they managed things. The only drawback is some woman from the liquor store next door is apparently a fun hater and had to insert herself because some locals we're having too much fun playing pool with us but she was quickly shut down by the bartender and luckily so because we wouldn't have been back the 2nd night and this review would be a much...

Well, maybe in biased, since I used to live just across the street... But, this place became my living-room. Infinite jukebox. Cold Beer. Package License. Foosball Table.

Don, unlike more than a few other KW bar owners, is a genuine nice gentleman, who fosters that attitude throughout the Staff. I Miss Jill ... :(

Sure, there can be disagreements in the parking lot, late at nite, on rare occasions... It's called alcohol.

I never had no troubles, over the years I lived nearby. If you're visiting on Christmas - do yourself a favor, best Holiday Family Pot-Luck Dinner there is !

My husband and I have been stopping in here to watch the Seahawks games since 2017. The start of my reason for coming here to Key West after being diagnosed with cancer. To enjoy life. Today, whoever this bartender was, was so completely rude. Unbelievable! Just because we were cheering an opposing team at a bar your working at doesn’t make you God. Holy goodness! I had to try very hard to compose myself or get possibly kicked out. That bartender was so flipping rude it was disgusting! How do you treat paying customers like that??? He even crumpled up the receipt I signed with his tip. AND THAT WAS BEFORE HE GOT EVEN MORE RUDE ABOUT MY HUSBAND AND I CHEERING OUR TEAM. I honestly wish I can take...
