Our experience from the beginning was horrible. We were sat at a table and a man working took our drink orders. We waited 10 minutes with him walking by our table multiple times. We finally asked him if he could get our drinks. He informed us someone else would be taking care of us and then shortly after a female server brought us our drinks over. A few minutes later we ordered a veggie pizza. It took almost 40 minutes to get our pizza. Each of us took a slice of the outside of the pizza. We each took a few bites of pizza and then our waitress came to ask how everything was. We informed her good, as we had just had a few bites. Two of us then took a piece from the center and a bit into and then realized the top half of the dough was still raw. Raw to the point it stretched when pulled a part. We immediately told our server, who was apologetic and asked us if we wanted it reheated or a new one. At that point we had been there for over and hour and just denied both. The supervisor came up to ask what was wrong and we informed her and she said it was like that because of the sauce. We showed her the stringy dough on our plates and she said ok and walked away. 10-15 minutes went by then we flagged someone down for our check. When it was brought to us it had the pizza on it. We asked to have this removed as it was raw and we did not eat it. Our serve came back a few minutes later and told us since we ate the pizza and told her it was good they wouldn’t take it off. We asked to speak to someone in charge. The supposed supervisor came over and said her manager told us that we ate more than half the pizza (mine you it was three slices of the outside and two slices that were still on plates because of the dough). We asked to speak to that manager and she said she made the decisions and either we pay or she would have to call the police as if it was a scare tactic. We told her to call the police. We then sat for over an hour waiting on said police. The police never showed. She told us she called and there is absolutely no way that in the time we were there the police didn’t show if they were actually called. We sat while the supervisor made and ate a cup of noodles and her staff stared the closing process while we were waiting on the police. At 11:15 when the last two groups left and it was just us, the supervisor then came up and said they wanted to leave early so she would see what she could do to get us out. We reiterated our story and told her we’d gladly pay for our drinks but we didn’t eat the pizza so we were not paying for it. Moments later she came back with a bill for just the drinks. We paid and left. Please train or retrain your management and supervisory level. This was handled horribly. Things happen and sometimes food doesn’t come out perfect every time. We get it. The supervisor immediately threatened to call the police over this situation instead of trying to rectify the situation. Even with the best food - bad staff will kill a restaurant every time…and this was some of the worst I’ve ever encountered.
Responding to your response….
I would love to know the treatment we displayed to your staff you are speaking of? Your staff wasn’t rude and neither were we. We had minimal conversation with them as for the entire time we were waiting for the police they walked by us and said nothing. No one yelled at them, no one was disrespectful, no one accused them of anything.
Your staff’s diversity, background, or origin of birth had absolutely nothing to do with what happened, “how they were treated”, or my review. So, to publicly push that the issue was our fault for the treatment of your staff due to these things, is a brilliant tactic to not take blame of the situation or to correct it. Issues start at the top down, and we can definitely see why as resolutions won’t be had just blame put on customers over baseless false accusations...
Read moreI don’t typically leave negative reviews, and it’s been years since I’ve ever sent food back at a restaurant but unfortunately, this experience left me no choice.
From the start, service was slow, and the overall atmosphere felt disorganized. I hadn’t eaten all day and came in genuinely hungry, but the food was shockingly bad. I ordered a chicken dish that was so dry, overcooked, and completely unseasoned that I couldn’t eat more than a bite or two. It wasn’t even breaded just a plain, oily rubbery piece of meat in a basket. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve been served something so unappetizing.
I politely let the staff know and even offered to pay for the side of fries (which were fine), but said I couldn’t eat the chicken. The manager, Katie, responded by essentially laughing in my face. Her attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating. There was no apology, no accountability—just a smug reaction that made a bad situation feel worse.
I left still hungry, disappointed, and genuinely shocked at how poorly it was handled. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect edible food and basic respect when something goes wrong.
I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal or a good dining experience.
Update:
I want to make it absolutely clear that I never once asked for a full refund. I only requested a partial refund for the one entrée that was inedible and even offered to pay for the side of fries that came with it. All I asked for was a $6 adjustment for food that should not have been served. It’s incredibly disappointing to be called untruthful when I shared my accurate and honest details about my experience. It’s also validating that other “real” diners who were there at the same time had similar complaints.Clearly just an attempt to save face rather than own up to a disappointing dining experience. Both Katie and I know exactly what was said, and if the owner actually watched the “footage” like they claim, then they should know the truth too. The owner’s response was not only completely inaccurate, untruthful, dismissive, and unprofessional.
It’s also pretty obvious that friends are writing those glowing five-star reviews to try and bury the bad reviews, which is pathetic. Maybe next time, focus on fixing the actual issues instead of wasting energy trying to hide...
Read moreWe’re here on vacation and the food was good! However, we had a waitress with red hair and she was VERY RUDE!!!! There was a lunch rush so understandable that she was stressed but she had such an attitude and it was not appreciated. Not sure if she realizes all the things she was saying out loud? Or if she thought she was mumbling it under her breath and maybe no one would hear? Or thought no one see her rolling and batting her eyes? People walked in front of her while she had stuff in her hands and she got huffy puffy about it. Then when they stopped and let her go she said yeah hazard of the job. When things slowed down some she said whew can I slow down now haha or something like that. My this time be sepdad made a joke and she said what a lunch rush. She said something to my brother about being 16 and my dad said he’s actually 24 and laughed and she said wow well you’re not gonna get far in life...excuse me! She walked over by mom and she told him how he has autism she walked away and said wow and she just starts batting her eyes! That was so rude of you! At the end she brought the check out with everything together on one check then comes back in a minute and says oh did you guys want this to be separated? We said yes and she said she wished she would’ve known that before with a smirk on her face. Brings it back out and starts asking us how it needs to be split up and then makes another comment so I told her to be fair ma’am you could’ve asked us before if it needed to be split up. She was trying to blame it all on us and give us an attitude. Then she apologized and said oh yeah sorry it’s my fault and her attitude changes and she came out. Not sure if it’s cause she was called out or because she wanted a tip? Sad that you have to question that? To be fair I did appreciate how my nephew dropped a mini corn dog and he was sad about that so she had the cook drop one more to replace it! But overall with everyone I saw around she had such an attitude. Honey it’s gonna happen, don’t take it out on your...
