Ok, you paid a lot, I get it. You paid what you were willing to pay and what the shop felt their time and merchandise was worth. I talked with the owner Amit after buying my shirt. I told him I felt overcharged and we had a good conversation about prices. In the end I had paid $43 for my original t-shirt, he gave me a $20 refund and then sold me an additional shirt for $15. All in all I paid $38 for 2 tshirts which is more than fair. In my point, I had told him $25 was a fair price for a t-shirt, them pressing it, their time, and business expenses. In spite of that, Amit still gave me a good deal in comparison. The lesson for all of us.... Know the price before you buy. If it's not the price you want, don't buy or grow a pair and talk to the owner. The sales person April did her job and made me the shirt I asked for. If anything, it was my fault for not asking the price beforehand. Overall this is a good shop that is trying to make money, but will negotiate to make customers happy. I would go here again and as a salesman myself I have much respect for the owner. Thank you Amit for making me 2 great shirts that I love and will wear at a more than fair price. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a unique shirt that fits their...
Read moreOn Sep 11, 2021, after visiting Mount Rushmore, I strolled by this, and saw a fun sleeveless T-shirt outside. I went in and inquired about it. The woman, 55-ish, led me to a stand of blank shirts to get the correct size.
On the one displayed, the arm opening is tight around one's arm, but the ones she showed me had a very big opening around the arm. I said it seemed different, but she just kept saying "We'll have it done for you in 10 seconds" and headed to the cash register. She did mention the shirt was $20, and the decal $20, and she would give me a discount to $29.99 total, but it happened rather fast, and felt like a hustle.
I took a photo of the display one, and, now comparing them, the one they sold me is of a much lower quality. The shirt probably cost them $1, and the decal $1.
I was on vacation, trying to have a happy time, and the woman injected a bad memory. The Chamber of Commerce should try to close her down. Yes, I agreed to buy it, but: a) it felt like a hurried hustle, and b) it is wrong to bait-and-switch, with a lower quality shirt in a different style.
I gave the shirt away to Goodwill when I got home, to nor be reminded of this. Please do not support this place, so they go out...
