I am disappointed to say I will never be coming back to this Wendy’s after the way my fiancé and I were just disrespected tonight. When pulling up to get our order, we only got a portion of it. Not a big deal we let the girl know and they started to get the rest; she was nice and even offered some free frosties. We said no we just wanted the food we ordered. When handing us the “rest” of the forgotten items there was still a burger missing and the wrong drink so I let her know. Up comes a male employee, I’m guessing the cook because he begins to tell us he specifically remembers putting the burger in the bag. I handed him the bag to show him there was no burger in there and he still insists he put it in there, over and over again. He kept insisting to the ridiculous point where I finally had to ask him if he was accusing me of taking a burger out and hiding it in my car. Still he insists we got the burger because he put it in there. Finally another female employee who had been standing there the entire time comes to the window asking what is going on. I let her know, she just says okay and hands me the correct soda. I’m not sure if she was a manger but if so I can’t believe she would have just stood there the whole time and let this employee pretty much accuse us of stealing a burger and her only response is “okay” to the situation. Today, my wife and I decided to eat at Wendy’s in Kyle, TX, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. When we sat down to eat, my wife noticed mold on the bread of her burger after she had already taken a bite. I returned it to the cashier, who showed it to the manager. The manager instructed them to make another burger, but what upset me most was that no one apologized for the inconvenience.
The manager seemed more preoccupied with flirting with the staff than addressing the issue. An apology for serving unsafe food and making us wait would have gone a long way, but it never came.
On top of this, the restaurant itself was dirty. Every table was smudged and looked like it had been wiped with a dirty towel. It’s clear that quality and cleanliness aren’t a priority at this location.
We will not be returning to this Wendy’s. If corporate happens to read this review, I strongly suggest focusing on cleanliness, food safety, and ensuring staff are trained to offer basic customer service—an apology can make all...
Read moreY’all got me all the way effed up. I have two kids. I ordered two kids meals. I received one kids meal (and only one toy), NO kids drinks. I also ordered extra BBQ sauce and extra honey mustard for the two other meals I ordered. I also did not receive my extra sauces.
I was not given a receipt at the window, then I was asked to pull around so they could bring my order to the door, which took 15 minutes after I ordered to get my food. So now I have two starving children, ONE kids meal, not enough bbq or honey mustard and no receipt and I have to go inside the store to get my milks but LO and behold NOBODY understands English and they don’t understand I’m asking for the KIDS MILKS I ordered and everyone stands around staring at me like I’m speaking gibberish.
Not only that but the food quality has really gone down in the last few years. I’m so disappointed in this location and can’t say I’ll be returning anytime soon. Terrible job you guys....
