Our waitress was great. She managed to keep everyone in the establishment taken care of all on her own. As far as the food. Eh. Its a diner but for around the same price you can find the same kinds of plates with much higher quality else where in the area. The soda shop is apart of my childhood. I have many memories of walking across the hydro station bridge to the soda shoppe for lunch. One thing they've always done right is their milk shakes!! As kids we always got a kick out of the legend of the famous 🦌 that suddenly came crashing thru one of the windows and into the restaurant. If you do find yourself at the soda shoppe be sure to look for the table with a deer figurine and order a chocolate frappe. Or strawberry or vanilla whichever you fancy.

Glad I finally made it to this restaurant. My first time dining there I went with my two daughters. It is a relaxed, classic diner, family friendly atmosphere. You choose your own seat and have the choice of tables, or the bar and stool seats. The menu is reasonably priced, especially for their breakfast items which they serve until they close mid-afternoon. Today my daughter and I went, she ordered off of the lunch menu, and I the breakfast menu, plus we each got a drink and the bill was under 18 dollars. The staff is upbeat and friendly also, and if you're a coffee drinker like I am they never let your cup go empty. A great place to bring your kids, or to go and have a delicious breakfast.

Been visiting this place for years, the food is always delicious and the service quick and friendly. The pancakes are hands down my favorite anywhere.

I've been eating at the Soda Shoppe since I was a young boy. I can still remember the plaque explaining how a deer crashed through their window in the 70's! To be honest, I didn't think things would go well when ownership changed hands a few short years ago. Of course, I was proven wrong. The food is still amazing, the prices are still low, the service is still amazing, and they have even expanded into the Tilton Franklin area (Which I haven't had the pleasure of visiting yet). The decor hasn't changed, and if you have ever been there you will understand why. They aren't flashy like franchises like Applebees, and they aren't poorly designed retro like the Tilt'n Diner... The natural wood is a nice change from newer style restaurants, and the three dining rooms they have keep the noise level down so you don't have to yell across the table to hear your friends and family.

It's a great place to eat and relax. I highly recommend it to everyone that is...

I'm sorry but tonights visit to the Soda Shoppe was the worst ever. Theres this girl that works as a waitress and she give me my daughter and friend the worst customer service eveytime. We Litterally do nothing wrong. She's spilt milk shake on me and then gave it to me half empty to drink. Tonight she asked for our drinks and if we needed a moment. Next thing I know we are ready still 10 mins passed we are looking right at her as she's laughing and messing around with this blonde headed girl. Then says wait a sec to her friend bc she's gotta put something in takes another 10 mins doing it then has the nerve to go behind us BOTH waitresses and takes their order. I've never ever walked out before but we did. I'm calling to talk to the owners tomorrow morning. Something needs to be done about...
