SUMMARY: My wife and I came to Laconia for the weekend and saw this store during our morning walk and decided to check it out. We are both so glad we did! We were welcomed by Sandi and her “guard dog” (see image)! The store was unique with its loud colors and urban vibe. The clothes felt so comfortable and the designs are beautiful. The best part of the experience was talking with Sandi. She shared with us everything these guys have done to help others and also walked us through a book of images captured at one of their shows! We will definitely be back in Laconia to check them out at Cake Theater!

ATMOSPHERE: We loved the color and the vibe! It was fun, rebellious, inclusive yet so unique! Everything in the store had some meaning or it was tied to a story which made it that much more impactful. I have a true appreciation for urban art because it really does push against the norm with its own authentic beauty and this place represented that. PS, make sure to say hello to Roy the statue in front and if you have time, ask about his story. It’s very touching.

PRODUCT: The clothing was definitely good quality. You can feel it. There were several different designs scattered across the shirts and hoodies. I really liked hearing the stories behind some of the designs like the quadriplegic who drew a couple of designs using his mouth.

STAFF: Sandi was awesome! She was so kind and welcoming and had such an upbeat and positive energy to her. She was so knowledgeable about everything the owners are doing from their shows to their community service. Sandi is a human encyclopedia of all things Chaos & Kindness and, as a staff member, you couldn’t ask for anything better! She told us beautiful stories of the teams time in Vegas and how they came about buying the old church that’s is now the Cake Theater. She told us about Roy next door and the massive peanut M&Ms that led to a beautiful and life changing introduction for him. Sandi also shared stories about some of the charity the team has done locally. She showed us the pictures of all the backpacks filled with school supplies and told us their plans for thanksgiving. She has such a passion for all the good that C&K does! It’s so beautiful to see and we are grateful to have had the pleasure of talking with her. This is truly a whole new experience when it comes to shopping. The grand opening was as smooth as it could be, given the amount of VIPs. But Justin, Ryan and Tony took time to meet and great with everyone in VIP (7+ hours). The store itself is much more than just shopping. Yes, they do have lots of merchandise you can buy. Tshirts, hoodies, jogger pants, trucker hats, and more always coming. The quality is amazing. All clothing is amazingly soft and stretches for a comfortable fit. They also have experiences you can purchase, like the glass smashing! What a great time! Activities that keep you coming back, guaranteed! Why? Because it's more than /just/ making slime or playing some games throughout the store. It's about coming together and making a difference. It's about chaos and kindness, literally. Writing letters and coming together for different disasters are just the beginning. There's even a section of the store for a telephone booth that gives mental health positive messages. What other places do this?? None! It really was such a great time. Another great and AMAAAZING thing is EVERYTHING CAME FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE! Everything could have easily been outsourced to bigger companies out of state for less money but NO! Right here, in the great state of New Hampshire is where it all came from. UPSET. I BOUGHT A ONE WORLD ONE LOVE SWEATSHIRT AT FULL PRICE AND ASKED FOR AN AUTOGRAPH ON IT FROM JUSTIN. AND WAS TOLD ID GET IT AND I GOT A SCRIBBLE REAL LITTLE ON IT AND YOU CANT EVEN SEE IT. IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE SPECIAL. IT WAS FOR MY MOM WHO USED TO RUN MARATHONS WHO HAS BREAST CANCER. I HAVE BOUGHT MANY THINGS FROM YOU GUYS. IVE SPENT WELL OVER 2500$ IN MERCH OVER THE YEARS. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I COULDNT GET A FULL AUTOGRAPH THAT YOU CAN SEE ON THE SWEATSHIRT. I WAS TOLD I WAS GETTING IT AND HYPED UP FOR IT. AND WHAT I GOT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Its signed with one letter ~ a J. Thats it. Anyone could of put a J on it. It looks stupid. Its not a real signature that was promised. I didnt give it to my mom. I was embarrassed because it looks like anyone could of done it. And its just one letter and its faint on the sweatshirt. I was promised a full signature from Justin.

SORRY TO COMPLAIM BUT MY HOPES WERE VERY HIGH AND IT WAS A BIG LET DOWN. AND I WONT BE BUYING ANYTHING ELSE OR MY FAMILY AT THIS POINT. JUST REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! SORRY
