I recently had a family dinner at the Turf Club Bar in Disney Saratoga Springs on New Year Eve. We made a reservation for 4:50 pm, hoping to enjoy a memorable meal together. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations.
Upon arrival, we promptly ordered our drinks and food. To our surprise, the appetizers arrived within five minutes, which initially seemed impressive. However, we soon realized that the soup was not hot at all. We immediately brought this to the attention of our waitress, who kindly took it back to the kitchen. Another waitress later brought a fresh bowl of soup, which was appreciated.
While still enjoying our appetizers, around 10 minutes later all three of our main courses were brought to the table. This was quite frustrating as we had not finished our appetizers, leaving us with limited space on the table. Despite explicitly requesting our waitress to slow down the pace, it seemed as though the staff disregarded our request and rushed us through our meal.
To make matters worse, the main courses were not even served hot. This lack of attention to detail further dampened our dining experience. Considering the price we paid for this dinner, we expected both exceptional service and quality food, but unfortunately, neither was delivered.
Overall, we left the Turf Club Bar feeling extremely disappointed. We had hoped for a pleasant dining experience to celebrate the holiday, but instead, we encountered multiple issues that hindered our enjoyment. Considering the price point, we expected a higher level of service and better-prepared dishes. Regrettably, this was not the case.
We sincerely hope that the Turf Club Bar takes this feedback into consideration and works towards improving their service and food quality. As a loyal Disney guest, it is disheartening to have such a subpar experience. We hope that future diners have a more enjoyable time at the...

From the moment we stepped through the doors of The Turf Club Bar and Grill, we were enveloped in an ambiance that radiated sophistication and warmth. The tasteful décor, paired with a soft, welcoming glow, created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening.
Our dining experience was marked by impeccable service, delivered with grace by our servers, Tobi and Ana, who was in the midst of her training. Despite being relatively new, Ana exuded a professionalism that complemented Tobi's seasoned expertise. Together, they orchestrated an attentive yet unobtrusive service that made us feel both valued and cared for throughout the evening.

Read moreI will start by saying this is from an experience I had a year ago, and apparently forgot to leave a review. There are arguments to be had over what is the best Disney restaurant, but there is no competition to this one as the worst.
First off, it is located above the golf pro shop. If you are with someone who has difficulty with stairs, you will have a hard time reaching it. There is not elevator, you will have to go out the back door and walk a ramp around 2 sides of the building. However, this should not be viewed as an inconvenience, it should be looked at as a final warning to leave.
I ordered the braised lamb shank. My waitress did warn me it came off the bone over pasta, but I was still expecting strips of lamb meat. Definitely not what I got.
If any of you have ever been to a high school cafeteria, or a camp where they server mystery meat over noodle, using an ice cream scoop to put a combination of some type of shredded meat with some kind of brown gravy, then you can picture what I got. However, I assure you the food at the high school tasted better.
The restaurant claims it was lamb shank meat. Maybe it was, I have no idea. It certainly had no lamb flavor. When I told the waitress and the manager that was not what I had expected, they simply said it they were sorry I didn't enjoy it.
Looking back, $30 seems a steep price to have paid for an ice cream scoop of brown glop over a plate of overcooked noodles.
I cannot stress enough how much you do not...
