so extremely disappointed in the customer service. the entire staff at disney springs today has been so polite, cheerful and friendly (even during this experimental time with constant face masks and sanitizing), EXCEPT the teens working here.
stopped in for the first time to try a bombolato. the girl working was so rude and unfriendly as were the other 2 girls working. they were very unhelpful with our first time here and did not smile once.
it starting pouring outside so we came in for shelter, along with an elderly couple in a motorized scooter and a walker. i proceeded to order a coffee while i was waiting for the rain to end. i was looking for an iced coffee option and the same girl gave only attitude when i asked questions. i asked if they had any other cold options (it’s 90 degrees out today) and she just said no. i even asked for a side of ice in which they said they don’t have any... which i find hard to believe. it continued to rain and another pair of teens came in with a rolling cart and asked us to move to the side as he wheeled the cart over my dress (let me remind you it’s still pouring outside and the inside of these place is very tiny). the elderly couple made polite conversation and the staff did nothing to make us feel at ease while we were waiting for the rain to end.
bottom line: don’t come here. the staff is awful and the gelato was just okay. horrible first and...
Read moreWorse overall Service. So unfriendly, Far from Welcoming. They Never Smile or even make you feel at home. We have been to this ship several times and seems to get worse and worse. Seems like they don't care to be there and take it out on they're customers. We were just there yesterday. Name tags are a Joke. Names are so Tiny you can barely read it. I asked for my receipt because if you don't, you won't get one. Assisted by Jordyn that was so very unfriendly and with an attitude. Definitely Not customer service oriented at All. Barely put Gelato in our 3 Scoop cups and other items we purchased. They Flatten the Gelato/Ice cream down, when should show well above the rim of the cups.A Whopping $10 alone for 2 Scoops of nothing. Flavors should be purer, and with more of the Fruit, chocolate and such flavors. Prices should be lower, as it is all way overpriced. We did Not even get a Thank you. Owner should get involved and spend time with these Employees that need to learn customer service manners and other training. They take Zero Pride in anything from the moment you enter and not a word is said to customers to the moment you walk out. No matter how busy a Business is or overwhelmed, they should always keep a positive composure a smile and always be Friendly. Employees are the reflection of the training from business owner. Treat people the way you care...
Read moreSo my kid has a peanut allergy. I don’t consider myself a whiney parent, but my son’s allergy gets thrown in his face on a daily basis when he can’t eat what everyone else is. He’s really good about it, so I really hate when a food service worker goes out of their way to be unhelpful.
It was December 30th and all of Disney was absolutely packed. It was our last night and we went to Disney Springs for dinner, which was great. We decided to for-go desert at the restaurant so we could get Gelato at Vivoli Il Gelato. A sign on the storefront requested that patrons let the server know of any allergies prior to ordering. We waited about ten minutes in line and when we got to the counter, my son made them aware of his allergy. I was first surprised that the counter person had no idea how to deal with this. She called the manager, who said there were no nut free options and there was nothing he could do (I’m paraphrasing).
After having ordered ice cream and gelato in and near our hometown in RI, I’m used to having servers go out of there way to help when they hear a child has an allergy, usually by opening a new container and using a clean serving scoop.
The Disney employees in the parks were absolutely great regarding my sons allergy. I was really surprised with the response we got at...
