Burger King — Restaurant in Lake Geneva

OMGWTF!!! If I could give them zero stars I would!!! I have never been so disrespected at a fast food place in my life!!! My husband and I just came to Lake Geneva for Gary Con!!! When we order my food I ordered a mustard whopper with no onion!!! I don’t know about WI but in TX when you order a mustard whopper it DON’T GET MAYONNAISE!!! My husband took my back so that I could have them change it!!! When I came in the tall young man with long hair was drinking a Monster and when he finally noticed me!!! I told him that I wanted a mustard whopper with no onion, please don’t add Mayonnaise and we did for get the cheese so I asked him to please add cheese also!!! When he talk to his cook in Spanish he told her to put lot of mustard on!!! I understand everything he said because I speak Spanish!!! He thought I would not understand him!!! He gave me my food and as I was walking out he started talking bad about me and said that it was my fault for not ordering my food right and said that I was stupid for complaining!!! I heard what he said so I walked back over and told he that if he is going to complain about the customer maker sure they can hear you!!! Then this Red Head girl stated yell at me and tell me that I am wrong and that I don’t order my food right so that is why it was made wrong!!! When I said y’all she stated making fun of my accent and told my I don’t know what the hell I am talking about!!! She rolled her eyes and said that she don’t care what I had to say because I was wrong!!! I have never been treated so badly!!! Full disclosure, I'm not a fan of hamburger-based monarchies as a general rule.

I used to appreciate a Whopper now and then, but I've only stopped at a BK maybe a dozen times in the last 20 years. And when I did, I would usually regret it shortly thereafter.

But this review is not a screed against the BKs of my past, it is a critique of one particular visit to this particular Burger King. It was a breakfast drive through order, consisting of two sausage egg croissant sandwiches and a breakfast burrito.

Pros: Everything was hot, and if it wasn't freshly prepared, it seemed to be. It wasn't more than it aimed to be, and the sandwiches tasted like I remember them.

The folks who took my order and payment were pleasant and personable.

Cons: Capitalism (and greed) has resulted in ever decreasing sized items - and increased costs at Burger King. This is not the fault of franchisees, nor the workers in the restaurants - but the blatant push to generate ever-increasing share prices (by the fund management firms that buy up fast food chains like BK) is...

Without a doubt the WORST bk I've EVER been too!! Drink station was absolutely filthy and had no small lids put out. When they FINALLY acknowledged us, (not busy at all), the kid took our order. We were the only ones inside and there were 2 cars in the drivethru but their personal conversation was more important than their customers. We stood there LITERALLY 20 minutes while they screwed around giggling. 2 burgers and 2 tacos and they took that long to make them. They didn't use gloves on their hands, touching all the FILTHY equipment and then made our food!! It was absolutely disgusting and we will never go back there!!! This place needs to be shut down and I will be contacting the health...
