Foundry — Restaurant in Lake Havasu City

The atmosphere alone in this place is completely unmatched. My husband is a welder so we really appreciated the art work and metal work found all over the restaurant. Their servers are more than competent and we especially enjoyed our time dining with Noel, she is a fabulous server; from her knowledge of the menu to her shining personality, she made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. We've been once for lunch and once for dinner and both times we couldnt name one thing we didn't enjoy about this place. The bar offers a wide selection of beers, spirits and wine. As a pregnant mama I especially appreciate their "mocktail" menu and ordered the Garden Basket both times. The menu isn't overwhelming and offers just the right amount of options in my opinion. The avocado bomb appetizer was fabulous, right down to the arugula it's garnished with. For something so simple, the wedge salad was delectable and impressive. The real winner is their prime rib which was cooked to perfection and so tender and juicy we literally cut it with a butter knife. Chilean Sea Bass isn't something I'd usually order but the description on the menu sounded delicious and Noel helped us make our decision by her helpful comments. I really wanted to try the baby Branzino but they were sold out unfortunately. Both of the entrees absolutely melted in our mouths. The two desserts we've tried so far, the blueberry cobbler cheesecake and the dark chocolate caramel truffle mousse thing were to die for! I've never left a restaurant more satiated in my life. Update on review. We came back to give service another go at it. There was 10 in our group. We had reservations. Not as busy as the night we came before. Excellent service. Excellent food. Noel took care of us and we had a great time. Proof that you should always give someone a second chance. Wish the best of success to this place. I will give this place 5 STARS!

This is from a week prior Foundry is a very nice place. The atmosphere is great and we came to listen to Brett. Live entertainment. I guess because we were not going to eat, just have drinks. No one wanted to wait on us. We finally stopped a waitress after several had walked past without even acknowledging that we were there. Finally got water after 45 minutes and another 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. The waitress, Noel that finally took care of us, was very cordial and apologized for the inconvenience. Said that someone should have been assigned to our table. Our group was excited to try this place after seeing it was rated well and had a great menu. Started off with drinks- we tried most of the cocktail options between us and all the drinks were tasty. A couple drinks did have to be sent back when ordered again as they didn’t taste the same. Next were appetizers- we ordered wagyu, poke nachos, truffle fries, garlic fries and oysters and clam chowder. Everyone enjoyed them. Flavor was on point and overall great with exception of clams in the chowder being chewy. Finally dinner and we appreciated the menu having something everyone would be interested in…and that’s where it went downhill. Out of the 8 of us only one was happy with their entree- the wagyu lasagna. I got the ciopinno- the seafood was decent but the sauce was way too salty and had too much garlic. Couldn’t finish it. A few ordered steak and crab legs- it was ok but not worth the price. One ordered the wagyu burger and took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore because it tasted sour/bad. Another in our group tried it and agreed. Half us had our stomachs turn after entrees and ended up sick.
