I've been ordering from here ever since another local pizza place was incredibly rude to me and denied me delivery on a Saturday night (several weeks, sometimes multiple times a week), and I'm glad that place did because I if they hadn't, I wouldn't have found Rosati's.
Rosati's customer service has always been great, everyone is always very pleasant and helpful and they care about their customers, making sure they are taken care of especially when a mistake is made. Tonight for instance, a few mistakes were made on my order: it arrived at my house at about 9:00 but I got distracted and didn't touch it until almost 10:00. When I began eating I noticed there were peppers in my calzone, there weren't any extra sides of sauce or Nutella (I also wasn't charged for them) and the $3 off coupon wasn't applied. I could have overlooked everything but the peppers, that was inedible for me. I noticed as I called to see what could be done, it was 9:59 - I didn't expect anyone to answer but to my surprise they did. The manager gave me several options to rectify the situation, including redelivering the items himself later tonight. Since my car is still not working and I didn't have any thing else to eat in my house (and I hadn't eaten in several days), I felt awful but asked if he could go ahead and bring me the corrected order and he agreed. I was a bit surprised he didn't sound annoyed to do so or upset that I didn't choose another option (I also appreciate he gave me a heads up that since he was delivering it himself and he is the last to leave, it could be after 11:00 when it arrived, and he told me this as a courtesy, it wasn't as a deterrent to try to prevent me to choose that option, he was very polite). When the order came, it was perfect, I think the best calzone I've had from them yet. I was very impressed with his professionalism and willingness to go so far out of his way, especially considering the bad experience that made me try Rosati's.
To be honest I chose Rosati's for a really simple reason: I love calzones- love - and no one in town can seem to make them the proper way: with ricotta cheese! While they may not come that way on the menu, at least they have ricotta cheese to add to the calzones, and theirs are delicious! The dough is crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, it's a large portion, it usually lasts me three meals (I don't eat much, if you can eat a small 12-ish pizza, you can probably finish this, if you can't, you might have leftovers) and the sauce is great - being of Italian heritage and making my own sauce from scratch, I'm very picky about this. Then they put a tasty Italian seasoning on top that compliments everything. I've also found myself addicted to their zeppoli, it's so simple but so good. The tiramisu is another excellent choice, sometimes they will drizzle some Nutella on it or give you a side of it and that takes it to a whole other level, always be sure to ask for a side of it because it's f'ing amazing with it. But it's inconsistencies like this that keeps me from giving five stars along with forgetting extra sides of sauces frequently or coupon mishaps, although that is less frequent and they do seem to have a very high willingness to fix a problem, I wish I could...
Read moreThey left the mozzarella off that I had to add to an anti pasta salad and pay extra for. Also the anti pasta had no olives at all or pepperocini, only one slice of cucumber and 2 tiny grape tomatoes on a family size salad🤔😳🥲 I also had to add and pay for the black olives, more cucumbers and pepperoni in it as well. The salad dressing is prepackaged and sealed in little cups, not made there or by them at all(don’t get the blue cheese if you are a fan of true blue cheese dressing either). For about $13.00 before the extras and then add on the extras….my salad was around $20😑😦🫣 It was a huge disappointment overall! And to boot it had no side of bread or crackers with it and a side piece of garlic bread was over $4😬🫤😧 In the future I will certainly try the Romanos here as the ones in CA are full on amazing and about the same pricing and they also make the stuffed pizzas as well as all the dishes they had here. Not sure if this Romano's has champagne chicken but if they do I highly recommend it as well as all of their foods I have ever tried at our locations around my home have been absolutely anazing. Overall a very disappointing experience! This was the first time I have eaten inside as they are always overcrowded and a long wait at dinnertime, it was extremely disappointing overall and I will not ever order from there again😡
PS. Additionally the hostess/ Waitress was very snarky and rolled her eyes when I asked for the additional toppings and a different dressing. It was (I’m assuming) one of the owners as she was a mature woman tall with dyed black hair, not very accommodating at all even though the group I was with eat there often. They need to wake up to the fact they are no longer the only game in town in that category and quality😉 …And she didn’t even mention to me the daily special which was not on the cards sitting on the table and when asked if we needed a menu I was the only one who did so you’d think she would, they weren’t very busy so no...
Read moreMy girlfriend has been craving Chicago style deep dish pizza for quite some time and decided to try this place out while we were in town. The place was packed when we showed up, with only two severs. There’s nobody to greet you at the door, but instead have you use this archaic sign in sheet to log your placement. There is a few chairs for people to sit & wait inside, and more benches outside to wait. Waited roughly about 20 - 30 minutes to which case we go inside to wait. While waiting I would look at the list to see where we were at ( initially only had 4 people ahead of us ). & jokingly made a comment to my girlfriend about crossing everyone’s names off the list to get to ours faster. Well, joke was on us because someone had circled the name above ours and the circle looked like a line crossing our name out. I had to tell the server that we’ve been waiting for some time just to get a table, which caused an issue with another party. Staff was alright, not super friendly, but not rude either. Ordered the pizza, wings and onion rings. Food was mid at best. Just tasted really bland. We took the rest of the pizza home with us and fed the kids after they came home from school. First kid was throwing up pizza by 9:30pm. Second kid by 1am and third kid by 4am. I was woken up at 6am to my girlfriend throwing up as well. Out of the 5 people in our house that ate this food. I was the lone survivor that didn’t have a problem. I think this place has potential to be much better than it is, but it’s going to require a bigger location to take care of more customer, more staff and a better way to check in. Wasn’t really happy with this location. Hoping for a much better experience when the bullhead...
