The brownie was even my personal birthday treat this year! My little one loves saying hi and thank you after we get our treat for the night! I'm a New Yorker who now lives in the south. We were visiting Lancaster with a group and came to the location just for the corned beef. I will say it was one the best TASTING corned beef sandwiches I've ever had! The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because even though we ordered NY sizes the portion size left much to be desired. Listen, charge me $5 or $10 more to actually get the NY size and I'd happily pay for this quality meat. I got a pastrami to go and that was good too! It's definitely worth the visit either way, but if you're from NY curb your expectations on portion size. I got a black & white too and it was good. How wonderful it is to have a proper Deli at Southern Market in Lancaster! Dov-a-licious Deli does a great job. A couple of times I had corned beef on rye... Real rye from NYC! David Davis mades the best coleslaw! The pickle was a perfect compliment, and the Chocolate Egg Cream was amazing! He also caries a variety of Dr. Browns soda, but the kicker was his home made brownie for desert. WOW! What a fix! Dov-a-licious Deli is licated next to the stage.
