Small local business no-fuss old school Vegas style Italian restaurant! I went after work on a Tuesday evening. It was steadily busy with only 2 servers, but they were nice and working hard to stay attentive to every table. At one point the theme from Mannequin was playing and one of the waiters was enthusiastically whistling along, which I thought was absolutely hilarious. I don't think anyone else noticed.... They have something for everyone from reasonably priced traditional dishes to pricier items. The online menu did not seem accurate. They had an $18 deal with Lasagna or other dishes and a dinner salad. I got the $20 deal Chicken Parmigiana with pasta and a dinner salad. I loved it. It was both cheesy and saucy, which is how I like it. The sauce was on point! There was no way to finish all of it off especially after having bread. Salad and bread were served immediately after ordering. The wine is served in what seems like a small glass, but it appears to be a standard ~5oz pour to me. You can always buy a bottle if that's not enough for you....The location is downtown by the Art Houz Theater, another awesome local gem. Any downtown in any city is going to have sketch people, not a reason to judge a local restaurant for people existing in the nearby area. I loved this local gem and will absolutely be back. It reminds me of small local Italian restaraunts in NY. If this isn't what you like, you can go to a casino on-strip and pay $40/plate pp for mediocre fare and pay $20 to park on top of it while waiting forever to sit and get your food; that's all I'm sayin'.

I always look at yelp/google reviews before I go anywhere.. we usually don't give somewhere a chance if under 4 stars, and for a good reason. This place had stellar reviews so we had to try it.. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed by all of it. The restaurant is very small and hard to navigate through. I think there's only like 10 table or so. But it was cute and quaint so I did like it. I ordered the cheapest red wine they had (I can't tell the difference) and it was $8 and came out in what appeared to be a kids glass, I like wine in a wine glass, and pretty full.. this was strange, and I felt like it should have been bigger and in an actual wine glass. My husband ordered the wedding soup and it was pretty good. I had a salad with a garlic type dressing which was interesting. It was ok, but some of the lettuce was wilted and I found a huge iceberg chunk in it .. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was huge. But the chicken was kind of overcooked, chewy, and didn't seem like the authentic chicken parm I was used to. It came with a small side of spaghetti with marinara, I didn't really care for it, it was really bland. My husband got the lasagna and he's literally the least pickiest eater in the world and he said it was simply 'ok' he liked mine better and nothing to rave about. We won't be going here again, but glad we tried something different. I just thought it would be better

THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD! We got engaged shortly before we ate here, so we were already in great spirits and would've eaten truck tacos and not complained. But we decided to splurge a little and IM SO GLAD WE DID! This place is the most charming little eatery in Las Vegas, it's right off of Fremont St. and its very quiet traditional. The gent I cant remember his name (very nice gentleman who told us stories, and was very very polite, he told us stories of the building and just made our visit very wholesome, he looked like an Italian guy a little on the bigger side) He explained to us what specials were ready and about each plate that we had question on. My spouse ended up ordering the shrimp and pasta with a lobster tail and I had the chicken parmesan. After we were done, we had ALOT of questions mostly about the sauce and spices used in the cooking because me and my spouse are VERY picky about Italian food. It was sooooo good! Our server was kind enough to go into the kitchen and talk with one of the chief's and figure out it was white table house wine. Needleless to say we have been using it at home ever since! *****Seriously a life changer, wonderful restaurant, fantastic service and amazing food!

SPOILED MEAT! I learned of this restaurant from TikTok. I made reservations for my husband's birthday. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing to shout about, pretty regular, dark and dim. The service was fast, but the waiter gave us an appetizer that we didn't ask for, but my husband decided to keep it. We were supposed to receive a bread basket upon arrival. Another couple came in and the waiter immediately took them a bread basket, then looks at me and brings their bread basket to us, but he'd already gave us our appetizers and we had been there about 20 mins. He never intended to bring us a bread basket, which is why he gave us the garlic bread appetizer that was a charge that we didn't order. I guess we were to pay for a bread basket, and the other couple next to us was not. The food. I will never go again or recommend this restaurant. I ordered the lasagna, and it was spoiled. I kept telling my husband that it taste weird, but he kept saying maybe it was the way they prepared it and plus it was his birthday, let's just enjoy. So, I tried to just eat it. After a few more bites, I was done with it and told the waiter to pack the leftovers. When I got the lasagna home, I tried it again, and for sure, the meat was spoiled. They added a lot of salt to mask the taste, but it did not help. It just made it very salty. I am a cook, so I know spoiled meat when I taste it. Plus, I have eaten pasta and meat dishes all over the world, and spoiled meat is universal in taste. My husband's dish was sub-par due to the excessive oil in the homemade fettuccine alfredo. A trained chef knows to drain the oil in order to make the dish palpable and not greasy. He didn't finish it, because of the excessive amount of oil. My husband preferred not to complain, he just wanted a quiet evening for his bday.. They are not personable. I stated it was my husband's birthday on the reservations, and instead of a slice of cake or something to a knowledge his special day, we got nothing. I would have paid for whatever, but it was very disappointing. Not to mention, our bill was almost $70. They need Gordon Ramsey and a class on how to treat all their customers equally. I will be adding this to the curculating TikTok...

We had been going there for quite a few years. NEVER EVER again! My husband got FOOD POISONING, and threw up and had diarrhea for days. He is still recovering. Last time we were there the service was so slow it was ridiculous. The waiter Larry , was taking orders in running food orders out while we were sitting there waiting to pay our check. Wound we’re not the only ones that we’re waiting to pay the bill either. This woman and I looked at each other and rolled her eyes because she was standing there trying to pay her bill forever and ever. and so we finally went up to the counter and paid and left no tip because the service was just playing horrible. We sat and waited and watched this waiter take orders it seemed as slow as possible....My food was terrible I had the Chicken Marsala, it was so incredibly salty I could not eat it. I was not offered an alternative so shared a small a small amount ( Thank God)! with my husband.who ordered Spaghetti and Scallops. Almost to the letter this is what happened to us about two months ago, that time I gave the waiter benefit of the doubt, thinking that he just didn’t know how to be a waiter.goid waiter yet. I also ordered a salad for him Romain lettuce but it arrived with mixed greens The soup, Pasta Fagoli, was watery and runny, this was not the way it had been in the past whatsoever. It was a thick bean soup which we had liked when we first started going there . This time we took the leftovers home and I tasted the soup again and it was really , really terrible. At the time in the restaurant and it was dark and I couldn’t see very much of it my husband went to the bathroom which is an extremely small bathroom and said it was less than desirable regarding the cleanliness. He even took a picture and we both laughed because there were two plungers sitting right next to the toilet. It’s a shame because a place like this used to be great but it went downhill fast and further down fast. I’m sure they’ll still be in business but I can assure you we will never ever go there again. Oh yeah, I got to pay for that chicken marsala because when we paid the bill wouldn’t care we just want to get out, get the hell...

Made a decision to eat here based on the “mobsters” used to eat here. Bit late, 9:30pm, but it’s Vegas right? Call on the way over as we were going to be 5 minutes late, guy who answered said he’d tell the kitchen to stop breaking down. Bad sign.

We arrive to a small house on a side street. You’d probably drive by and not notice it if you weren’t looking. All part of the experience, made it seem “cooler”.

Either front door was locked or I suck at working door knobs. I’ll go with the latter being most likely. We were welcomed by the host/waiter. Quiet guy. Nice interior. 6 tables in the front, maybe another 6 in the back.

I order the penne with meat sauce and sausage and my brother the chicken parm with a side of linguine in Alfredo. . Some garlic bread with cheese to start along with the garden salad that came with the meal.

I need to stop here and describe the service because I don’t want to harp on it. He was efficient. But seemingly put out by us eating so late. Another table came in with us and there was two more already there. Don’t read it as unfriendly but more disinterested. It was almost comical. But our drinks kept getting refilled and everything was served in a timely manner. Although not correctly. I ordered a salad with garlic dressing and got Italian. I ordered pasta with sausage and got meatballs.

Down to the food.

Garlic bread was tasty.

Salad was meh. I don’t mind Italian dressing but the lettuce seemed soggy. Was accented by one miniature baby carrot that tasted like it just came out of a bag. Made think of Gordon Ramsey losing his mind.

My penne was excellent. I’d say authentic if I was Italian and had a nonna. But I don’t so it was really good.

The chicken parm was ... okay. Bland. But okay. The linguine was over cooked and the sauce not very good.

To be honest I’d give it another shot. We did come late so maybe the food quality wasn’t at its best? My advice to the restaurant is if you want to close at 8, then close at 8. Also, just care a little bit more about your food. There is potential here. I see some things from 2002, Zagats, “best of Las Vegas” etc. Return...
