Taqueria Ktrina — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I think I come by once every week or two to order a carnitas bowl to fix my Chipotle craving. It is what people remember what Chipotle was supposed to be (well, more authentic), before capitalism went too far. The bowl is generously portioned, the carnitas is generally perfectly cooked, soft where it should be and crispy where it should be, and everything else in it is good. They did increase prices recently from what was a bit of a bargain, but remains well within the range of reasonable.

I will say if you're ordering something like a carnitas bowl, there's a wait since they do cook it real time. They're faster with tacos.

It's a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. The location is within the shopping complex owned (I think) by the Pawn Stars people, and there's plenty of outdoor seating, so you can watch the tourists taking pictures of the pawn shop while you wait or...

Came here to see the famous Pawn shop across the street but it's the tacos that got me interested. Hello tacos! They have a taco tuesday special for $2 a taco. I got six to start and was so happy that I got 4 more. Totally delicious. This is a cute little shop to order inside but seating is all outdoors at these metal tables. They do have someone come around to clean and keep it nice but it's not very comfortable or inviting and if the weather is too hot or too cold, probably not ideal.
