Protein and Greens
353 E Bonneville Ave STE 191, Las Vegas, NV 89101
The Door Dilemma ⭐⭐☆☆☆
Let me start with the elephant in the room – the doors. I genuinely thought this place had closed down when I first arrived. The E Bonneville Street entrance felt completely stuck, prompting me to walk around to the 4th Street entrance, only to find a sign directing me back to the “broken” Bonneville door. After returning and pulling with considerable force, I finally managed to get inside.
The door situation became even more concerning when I witnessed another customer struggling to exit. It took multiple people helping to pull the door open for him to leave. This is a serious accessibility and safety issue that desperately needs addressing – if you want customers, they need to be able to actually enter and exit your establishment!
The Bright Spots ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Once inside, the experience improved dramatically. I ordered an Acai fruit smoothie, and it was absolutely delicious – exactly what I was hoping for from a health-focused establishment. The service was efficient with minimal wait time, and the cashier was genuinely friendly and welcoming.
The interior space is a definite highlight. The restaurant feels open, bright, and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying your healthy treats. I was particularly impressed with the original artwork adorning the walls – it adds character and shows attention to creating a unique dining environment.
Practical Considerations
Parking is limited to street parking, which can be challenging in this area. I was fortunate that my husband could drop me off and pick me up, but this might be a consideration for some visitors.
Final Verdict ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
Protein and Greens serves quality products in a lovely environment with friendly staff. The smoothie was excellent, and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d want from a health-conscious eatery. However, the door accessibility issues are significant enough to impact my overall rating and future visit decisions.
Would I return?** The food and service were great, but honestly, if I had other easily accessible locations to choose from, I’d probably opt for those instead. Fix the doors, and this could easily be a four or five-star experience.
Recommendation:** Great for the food and atmosphere, but be prepared for a workout just getting in and out. Management should prioritize fixing these entrance issues immediately – it’s affecting both customer experience and potentially violating...
Read more10/13/2021 found this place today and thought that I have to check it out. After months of fine dining and exploring good food I have to cut back on carbs and all. Finding the place was easy..thanks google. Parking was easy but I can imagine that that will be tough during busy times. As I walked in I was presently surprised about the nice, clean and contemporary design. Very nice. Bathroom was also very clean. But better than design was the staff. Friendliest smiles, conversations I have had in a looong time. Heck, even workers that didn't help me with my order gave me smiles and talked to me. Amazing people in there. Even if the food wasn't any good, I still would come here just for the smile and friendliness. To the food! Big menu. It takes a while to get the hang of it but once I did it was pretty simple. So many options. Amazing. Thanks to the "build my own" I got exactly what I wanted. No carbs...lots of proteins and greens. I had the bison burger wrapped in lettuce with mushroom, Swiss cheese and grilled onions. For the sides I had mashed sweet potatoes and mashed cauliflower. Now let me tell you...when you order mushroom with them you don't just get some little tiny junks...oh no...at least 4 inches in diameter and half inch thick mushroom cooked to perfection. Meat was also cooked to perfection as I ordered. Mashed cauliflower and yams were also very good surprisingly good. The greens I liked to but hey. How can you screw those up. Right? The dressing I was told had no carbs but it was very sweet. So I dont know. I'll check my scale in the morning to find out the truth. Long story short. An amazing restaurant to eat some healthy food. Great selection and staff is absolutely the best. I highly recommend to go there and eat. The only thing I am still uncertain of is if greens, means and all is organic. I checked their website and there is no mention of organics. Maybe staff can comment on this in here. Once they confirm organic I will upgrade to 5 stars. I mean, it's only really healthy if organic....right? Other than that, go for it. You won't be...
Read moreUnnecessarily small portions for such expensive prices!! My bf ordered the Veggie Frittata which had was such a small sad portion size. and I got the “Tomato Basil Bisque Soup and Lavish Grilled Cheese” I quote this because the soup was so salty and was more of like a pizza sauce than a creamy bisque also the Lavish bread that they served me on the side were literally only three of the tiniest pieces of bread with the thinnest of cheese that I have ever seen. I thought I accidentally ordered a kids meal. We asked the cashier with the glasses for some toast because the soup was such a big bowl and I didn’t want to just eat it by itself and she says “we don’t have toast, but I can give you more of the Lavish bread” instead she gave me a little bag filled with even less lavish bread than before except they were cracked like little crackers. Not even a few minutes have past that we saw the same cashier come out of the kitchen with two plates of avocado toast for a customer. and we were confused BECAUSE SHE JUST TOLD US THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY BREAD! We asked them one last time and they said “we’re not allowed to serve you any bread it’s only for the dishes that are served with bread” which in my opinion is a lame excuse instead of lying to a customer. I do not recommend coming here for the food, my dish was 8$! and my bf frittata was 11$! Plus we ordered some drinks which was in total 50$! That’s a bill for a dinner for two at a fancy dinner not...
