Clark County, Nevada - Marriage License Bureau — Local services in Las Vegas

We got married in Vegas in 2021, still during the pandemic, and this office made it EASY and kinda fun too! The staff were friendly, it was very organized and a short line, and we were in and out with relative ease. We did apply online beforehand and wrote down the confirmation number (they DO NOT email it to you, so write it down!) so that took some time off. Overall, great visit for a great reason and the staff was great! FYI - there will be solicitors outside the office telling you "CONGRATS! Now, do you have a venue/location/whatever they're trying to sell you." And once you have your certificate in the big envelope, every person who works in or lives downtown KNOWS what that means - so you'll get lots of congrats if you don't have a backpack or purse big enough to fit it! We came here twice while on holidays I’m Las Vegas. The first time was to get a marriage licence before we got married and it was a nice experience and we received our marriage licence with no issues. When we got married our officiant told us we needed to go back to collect the full marriage certificate to make it legal. When we arrived back to collect it I couldn’t remember exactly what we were to collect so we explained to the lady at the door that we were here to collect a document after getting married. It was extremely obvious what we were looking for and she was extremely rude and unhelpful and was in no way willing to help. To Whom it May Concern,

On Thursday 03/09/23 at approximately 7:30pm we had an appointment for our Passport for my Fiance And Daughter . The Staff member from the beginning was very rude towards my fiancé for no apparent reason. She began to roll her eyes and make hand gestures as to what documents we were handing her. My fiancé needed to do a name change And was explaining the document she was handing over was her divorce decree and she said she did not need it. Come to find out she did need It. I really would appreciate it that as a customer you do not treat us with such disrespect. I did not get her name but she was a brunette and was at window 6 At around 7:30 pm.
