Kat is a Fiery, Hilarious Legend at Hammered Harry's!
If you're looking for a bartender who will charm you with sunshine and rainbows, go somewhere else. But if you're in the mood for a shot of sass, a double dose of sarcasm, and enough colorful language to make your grandma blush, then Kat at Hammered Harry's is the bartender you didn't know you needed.
Kat is an absolute “force of nature” with hair that looks like she just stepped out of a neon art installation and a vocabulary that's as sharp as a tack (and probably twice as dangerous). She’s got a knack for making you feel like you’re her best friend one second and then questioning your life choices the next. I swear, if you’re not getting roasted by her, you're probably dead inside.
But here’s the thing: it’s all love. In the wild world of Hammered Harry’s, Kat is the queen of ball-busting, and the rest of us are just here for the show. She’ll serve you a drink with a smile that could cut glass, and when she asks if you really want that last round, trust me, she’s not asking- you better just say “Yes” before she kicks you out for even thinking about it.
But here’s the twist: her brutal honesty and electric humor make the whole experience. She’s the perfect blend of tough love, comedy, and the occasional (okay, frequent) dose of “I’m only being mean because I like you.” In a world of too-polite, too-sweet bartenders, Kat’s the rare breed who’ll tell you exactly what you need to hear, even if you didn’t ask. And somehow, you’ll leave laughing harder than you ever have at a bar.
Kat is the best, worst bartender you’ll ever meet-and that’s exactly why I keep coming back for more. So if you’re brave enough to face the roast and ready to leave with a drink and a bruised ego, you’ve found the right place. 10/10, would absolutely get roasted by Kat again.
Cheers to the...
Read moreWent down to Fremont for my daughter’s birthday. Was planning on going to Dicks for the food and the experience. We were disappointed to see that they were no longer there. However, after speaking with a couple staff members and informed them that we were there for my daughter’s birthday, they assured us that the experience was the exact same as Dicks. We were sat down immediately. This was a Saturday night around 7p and we were a party of 4. There were 2 other parties that were already seated so it was not busy at all. It took 45 minutes for our server to take our order (we placed our drink order as soon as we sat down and received those fairly quickly, mind you it was only 2 drinks and 4 waters). We asked for our hats 3 times between the time we sat down and the time we finally placed our food order. It took over an hour for our food to come out (and it was only 2 appetizers then another 2 drinks). During the time we were eating we asked for our hats again; for the fourth time. Again, we came for the experience. We were finished with our food and at this point been there for over 2.5 hours, still did not receive our hats or the experience we came for. We asked for the check and I informed the server that we were ready to go and did not enjoy the service provided. He then came out with the check and blank hats in hand. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. At one point we looked around and the busiest it got was 4 total parties that were seated with each no larger than 6 people. They were not mean, funny or entertaining. The food and drinks were mediocre but definitely not worth the price. Won’t be going here again. BRING DICKS BACK...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews but I felt this place needed one. A few week ago (maybe even a couple months) myself and a few buddies of mine came to this restaurant to have a good time. Things were going bad from the start. We were not greeted when coming in so I figured it must be part of the rude service that they are supposed to give us. After a waiter comes to seat us and provided excellent rude service. The problem that I had was it seemed to be only a couple of staff members serving the restaurant. I felt bad for the waiter and waitress.
On such a busy night you would think that they’d have more than a handful of staff working, especially on a weekend. The restaurant had to at least be half full and I felt bad for the two people that were taking care of tables. At some point this lady with black hair comes out from the side or back telling the waiter that everyone needs hats on. I’m assuming that this lady was some sort of manager and if she is then shame on her for not having the appropriate staff for a weekend while those two poor individuals struggled throughout the night or at least a couple of hours we were there because it took forever to get the food.
I just don’t know why the manager didn’t step in to help. She had to have known that the restaurant was busy and if she is unaware then maybe she shouldn’t be in management. Needless to say we will not be returning to that restaurant again. We will go back to Dick‘s in the Excalibur where we have had much better...
