As a local Legacy Club is usually our go to spot when we have guests in town so we were very embarrassed with our recent visit due to the service we experienced. We arrived on time to have to wait for our table to be cleaned during which time the front of house team member (the manager) disappeared for a while resulting in other guests who wanted a table behind us walking out. We then noticed a table covered in vomit which I guess was ours so we were seated at the back out of the way instead. More on this later (it was only 7pm).
Having sat down we waited 15 minutes for a server who all seemed focussed on the other side of the room, particularly on the men in suits 💲💲💲 in the end we had to walk up to one and ask to be served. From then on drinks were slow coming and when we wanted the check there was another lengthy wait.
During this time the vomit had been cleaned off the other table and the suede chairs and other guests had been seated there. There is no way those chairs would have dried from being cleaned so wet bottoms for those guests.
We had planned on just staying until we had covered our $25pp min spend so we asked our server how far off that we were. She tried to tell us it was actually $50pp ( the cost for outside and not inside) but said she could waive it if we left the difference as a tip. At this point we thought we had only spent $20pp so that would have been a hefty tip for her that she certainly hadn't earned.
Deciding we would just have an extra drink instead we got the drink and the bill to find it was double what we expected. Instead of being given the cheapest option of 1oz as expected we were auto given the 2oz (probably why someone was sick if she was drinking more than they thought/wanted). Maybe we should have checked/specified when ordering but they also should have asked/told us when ordering especially when the manager told us it is a confusing menu and the larger measure is the standard. We asked for the manager as we felt that the waitress would have/should have known we were well over the $25pp when we first asked and therefore didn't need the final drinks to go over the min.
There was also no live music as usual at the weekend, the staff all seemed to disappear at one time to go to the toilets and leave guests waiting and the manager left us waiting a good 10 mins before talking to us. We felt she did very little to appease our complaint and as such we probably wont be back in a hurry, especially with guests (they are probably fine with that though as we weren't rich men in suits smoking cigars). Very...

I spent a lot of time researching rooftop bars for my fiancé's birthday and decided to book the "Sunset Package" at The Legacy Club after reading great reviews. The package description seemed like a great deal, offering an indoor reservation for two that included a couple of cocktails per person and "more" for $100. This sounded perfect for our special evening, so I went ahead and booked it.
When we arrived, we were seated and immediately greeted by the waitstaff. However, things quickly took a turn. The waitresses explained that the $100 only covered a small, underwhelming charcuterie board and $12 cheap champagne. Confused, I asked why the drinks weren't included as the website and package details suggested. Unfortunately, the staff was evasive and didn't provide a clear answer. Being that it was a special occasion but a little frustrated, we ordered one drink each and shrugged it off.
When the bill came, I was shocked to see the $100 charge listed as an "open liquor fee," confirming that the drinks should have been included in the price. At that point, my fiancé and I were incredibly frustrated. We had anticipated enjoying several drinks, but this felt like a bait-and-switch situation. To be fair, the drinks we ordered outside of the cheap champagne were good, but the experience was so off-putting that we ended up leaving early.
This was a significant letdown, especially since the website and previous reviews suggested that the package would cover the drinks. Something clearly changed as of February, and the business has made no effort to clarify this or make things right. I left the same review on February 9th, and Legacy Club responded, asking me to email them. I did, multiple times, but never received any response.
Now, I find that my initial review has been taken down. It's incredibly frustrating, especially as I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. If you're considering the Sunset Package, I would strongly advise against it. Skip the package and just go to the bar - at least that way you'll avoid being taken advantage of. This feels like price gouging, and frankly, I'm disgusted as a local. The lack of care from the business is evident, and...
Read moreThe view is beautiful, the service is terrible. We waited 15 minutes for our server and I eventually had to get up to ask a waitress that was standing around if she could grab our server. Instead of being helpful, she replied “she should be right over”. After waiting another 5 minutes, our server comes over and asks if we’re ready. We said yes, and she then proceeds to sit down with her legs open in the cocktail dress—unsightly and unprofessional. We asked for water as well and she responded by saying “I need you to sign this paper that states you understand there’s a $50 minimum spend and I’ll need your ID”. Keep in mind this girl has already flashed us, not introduced herself, or apologized for making us wait. We explained to her that we’re staying at the hotel so she only needs id and that we already agreed to the minimum when booking the reservation and she said “Fine, just give me the ID”. Great customer service. We waited another 15 minutes, still no drinks, but she plops down one single bottled water with her fingers touching the mouthpiece—very sanitary. We got up and went to the host to ask for the ID back. The host goes to the bar and comes back and says our waitress will be right with us. We explained to her that wasn’t acceptable and that we wanted to leave. Then a manger came up and we again emphasized that we just wanted the id back and were happy to pay for the water. He said that they just put blue cheese olives in our martinis and that they were ready. That means that they have been sitting out, and that she got our order wrong because only one of us got blue cheese olives. We ended up leaving. It’s sad to see such a beautiful space be put to waste. They try to sell themselves as an upscale bar, but the service is unprofessional and rivals that of your local dive. Hosts are scantily dressed, too many tattoos, too much riff raff, and smoking inside makes it muggy. Have some class, go to the Wynn,...
