Bodega's Alley — Restaurant in Lincoln

my friend's wallet went missing at the end of the night downtown and she filed a police report, only to find out that it was at Bodegas the entire time it was missing. When Bodega's contacted her, she went to get it. Upon it's return, her money was missing. When she asked about it, one of Bodega's employees told her "it's a consolation prize, honey, just be glad you got your wallet back." Who wouldn't be angry at hearing that? She had already reported it stolen when it was first missing and she told the Bodegas employees that she would be following up with the police report. When she got home, the BODEGAS BUSINESS PAGE ON FACEBOOK sent her a message saying "that was lame, you're a BAD PERSON." I am outraged and I am not the only one. They have lost my business and I hope this story reaches others. If anyone would like proof, I have a picture of the message and would be happy to share. This is not good business and it negatively reflects on Lincoln. I would suggest Duffy's, O'Rourkes, or Jake's if you are looking for a great bar and...

Bodega's Bouncer is terrible! Come here if you want the worst service in Lincoln!

I have been to Bodega's several times in the past year and never had a problem getting in until last night. It is a fun place for karaoke but their service is horrendous. The bouncer (a larger gentleman with a lip piercing whom I did not get his name) was checking my ID and said he thought it was fake. He took it and I had to call the cops to come and check because I need my license to legally drive. I was fine to have the cops come and verify it but the service and treatment from the Bouncer was unacceptable. My friend from the same state (South Dakota) gave him her ID and he said he would let her in which is the main reason I am writing this. The cops came and verified my ID and gave it back and he still did not let us in because his pride was hurt and he could not handle being wrong. Worst customer...

Damn best bar in Lincoln stuff drinks that give me a stuffy and those bartenders gahddam talk about a total smoke show and then the fire guys let me tell ya best .50 handy I’ve ever had but on a serious note this is the best bar I have had the luxury of enjoying in Lincoln friendly staff and consistently friendly folk I have never felt unsafe here and several friends that have gone with me have said as much they are dog friendly and have an amazing sound system...
