I have taken my jewelry here before and was very pleased. However, I took a Sterling ring that I loved very much into them and asked for it to go from a size 7 to 5.25 or 5.5. They stated this shouldn't be a problem that sometimes the small diamonds on the side of the band can become distorted or bent. So I told them to just safely do it to the size they could. My daughter picked it for me and immediately they told her to let me know, That there were some main stones that were loose that they had tightened but the stones on the band were barely in the setting and to be careful as they could fall out. Guess what, she brought it to me, I tried it on and instantly lost a side stone. I called the place where I got the ring explained the situation and after their jeweler looked at it, I was told that they Jewelry Co. Had taken to much silver off the band leaving it so thin as it would break. I was also told that they had heated the ring up to much causing my side bands to buckle, twist and lose stones and that a good jeweler wouldn't have downsized that much by taking silver out, but by adding Silver sizing beads which wouldn't have compromised the ring at ALL. Lovette jewelry are seeing if they can help undo what they have done but it is going to cost me more money and if it's not able to be fixed I will be taking Lincoln Jewelry to smalls claim court for loss in damages to the 400$ ring. I was referred to Lincoln Jewelry and have had nothing but great service. He has done several things for me. My daughter was getting married and I took my wedding ring in from when I was married to her dad and got it made into a pendant. SHE LOVED IT. We went to see if he could match a band I had on my wedding ring and he showed us a band that he had made! I loved it so we had him make another one for both sides of the band. the picture dont really do it justice. I also took a ring in that I had purchased that was a wedding ring and he made some changes so it dont look like a wedding ring and its beautiful. Prices are fair and he takes really good...

My only complaint is that after I realized I'd had my gemstone ring sized too big and took it to a mall store out of town to size down, the jewlers there asked its value and then told me the amount I paid was WAY off -- they couldn't believe I was able to purchase the ring I did, in the size it was, for the price I paid. They wrote down a value 5X that amount and kept marveling at the stone both the day I dropped it off and picked it up. I know that means no papers with the $$$ of the mall store valuation, so I guess I'll make it a family heirloom...
