D’Leon’s Taco Rico — Restaurant in Lincoln

I'm mostly writing this review to praise this location. There are many D'Leon's locations in Lincoln, and they tend to vary pretty wildly from place to place. This location however, is consistently the best D'Leon's in town. I wasn't really a big fan of the restaurant until this location opened and it changed my opinion of the whole place. The food at this D'Leon's is always extremely hot and fresh. The service is excellent, and the dining room is very spacious and clean. I've eaten here a lot and I 've never left here disappointed. I wish I could say the same about other D'Leon's locations, especially considering this one is far from my home. But it's worth the drive! I'm not a huge Mexican food eater, so I tend to order the all-day breakfast burritos most often (Nebraska Burrito is my favorite), but regardless, they are always spectacular, and taste great with a little bit of their free sauces from the salsa bar. It’s so uncalled for to tell me to confirm my UberEats delivery before I drive off just because you guys had other people who stole from yall before. I CAN’T DELIVER THE ORDER WITHOUT CONFIRMING MY ORDER ANYWAYS but don’t try to accuse me of stealing food from yall because you had other people do it to you. Address it with them. Not me. I’m not only a courier for your company but a customer as well. If I feel like you guys are accusing me of stealing, I won’t ever return as a customer. It looks so tacky on your company to be doing that when some of us deliver to make a living, not to steal people’s food LMAO on top of that, if you really are concern about me stealing food, your tablet shows you who the food is being delivered to and who is delivering it, CALL UBER if you have an issue. People who don’t deliver the food, get banned from UBER so STOP ACCUSING. I have never had this issue with any other restaurant...

Unless you're accustomed to very spicy salsa, then this isn't the place for you. They only cater to those individuals who are. The food was decent, to say the least, but it was lacking. It needed a significant amount of seasoning and salsa to make it better, but not the salsa from this place. Good luck with that. They amusingly make their salsa way to spicy on purpose, with no regard for your liking. What you get is what you get here. It's either burning hot or so much heat that it doesn't even have flavor! Even their salsa packets were way too much to deal with. It is absolutely ruining mine and my girlfriends food. We will never be eating here again. 100% thumbs down to this chain of restaurants.
