Dined here around 2:30-3 pm today for a total of a little over an hour. We waited at the host stand for a few minutes to be seated, and then it took our server another several minutes to get over to us. We were seated in a section with one other table seated. Once she did come over, we just put our whole order in at once. I ordered an Angry Orchard and wasnt asked what size, just served the largest one available which I could drink maybe a third of. Our appetizer of fried pickles was all mashed together so there was tons of unfried breading between each pickle. The queso tasted okay but was just warm. Our main food was so subpar. Just lukewarm, barely flavorful without heaps of sauce. My potato wedges were overcooked. The server only came over twice more to ask if we needed a box for things and then to drop off the check. I will say the server was very kind and sweet, her demeanor when she was around was lovely. I wish we had the chance to see her more often as I would have asked for the fried pickles and wedges to be redone, and my boyfriends order to get have sauce on his wings and I feel those accomodations could have made a difference in our experience. We paid and tipped and left without a fuss but compared to other locations in the metro detroit area, this location has some improvements to make. I feel bad for the servers working there as they do not seem to be the problem - in fact I’d argue it seemed understaffed even for how slow it was (I saw three workers the entire hour we were there). Read moreabsolutely the worst BWW I've ever been to. service is beyond horrible. walk in and stand at the podium for 10 mins before anyone even acknowledges you(multiple occasions). Used to stop here with friends after an event in the area for a couple beers however, consistently horrible service, wait staff could care less and they hangout at the server stations playing on their phones and talking while we have empty cups for 10, 15, 20 minutes(this is standard). Tall beer glasses taste like chemicals, probably the sanitizer behind the bar, tell the wait staff about it, they claim "oh the glasses are clean", yeah we can taste the sanitizer "ok we'll get you another glass". after this happened to not one, but ALL half dozen beers 3 times in a row, we asked to just have our beer in a different cup. the sanitizer flavored glasses happened on numerous occasions day and night time, we spoke with the manager at least twice about it, then decided to never go there again. After our events we now drive 20 minutes in the opposite direction to go to the BWW in westland. The first time we took the group to westland BWW the manager was making rounds greeting tables and checking in, when she came to our table one of our group (owner of a local restaurant) explained the trouble we've had at the Livonia BWW - she apologized profusely and explained "that BWW has many problems, we generally wont even take a transfer from that location because the staff is not trained and the management is so bad. Read moreThe only reason I’m even leaving three stars is because the manager DOM made our experience so much better. Our server who we never got her name(wearing the lions jersey) took at least 10 minutes to come greet us and then another 10ish just to get us water and our drinks. We’re all servers that have worked at Bdubs before, we ordered a queso and we all got boneless wings and a wrap. We HEARD our tickets print and they didn’t come out for another 15 minutes, and the server passed out our food with gloves on that she bussing her tables with and all of our food, besides one meal, was cold. She tried to blame it on the cooks even though we heard our tickets and we KNOW that our food wasn’t supposed to take that long. Mind you there’s ONE other table in the dining room and they were finishing up when we got there at 9:30 and we weren’t even able to leave until 11 when they closed. We asked for boxes that took 8 minutes for her to grab and she decided to take it upon herself to box up our food with the same gloves she’s been wearing and on another dirty table. We asked for a manager which was dom and he took over our table because our server was in a “mood” we were told, and never got checked on by her again. Dom was great, our server was not.
