Jan.-26 I think this is going to become my new Friday dinner treat-hummus w/ grilled meat of some variety and warm bread- Or, I love that you can get some items à la carte. I don’t particularly care for rice or french fries so usually I just eat grilled meat with some hummus and bread. I can order a side order of Tawook or kafta and grilled veggies for a little bit less than a regular entrée-i’m not one for leftovers and I eat small portions so this is perfect for me- granted, the prices are killer high-Pre-pandemic I used to get carry out once or twice a week. The portions were enough for me to get two or three meals from- very budget friendly at that time😁

I always have to doctor up the hummus. I like it creamy and lemony. Theirs has a bit of a strong tahini taste- The chicken Shawarma was tasty nothing special, but it had flavor and definitely had a nice grilled or broasted flavor- $17 and came with 4 pieces of bread ( nice and hot) I prefer the flat pita bread-

Lastly, it’s nice to know in this political climate that you can walk in and they were friendly. They at least greeted me with a smile, said hello, we’re helpful in helping me choose my food-there are a couple of places nearby where we won’t go anymore because they became unfriendly. They acted angry/hostile that you were there.- i’ve lived in this area for almost 35 years and there was only one Middle Eastern restaurant. Now there are many who offer Middle Eastern food. Alloush Grill Mediterranean Cuisine is an absolute gem nestled in Livonia, Michigan. From the moment my party and I stepped foot into this culinary haven, we knew we were in for a treat.

We opted for the Shish Combo for 4, and oh boy, it was a feast fit for royalty. The assortment of flavors and aromas that emanated from the 2 Shish Kababs, 2 Shish Tawooks (Chicken Kabobs), 3 Shish Kaftas (Ground Lamb, Parsley & Onion), 4 Lamb chops, Chicken, and Lamb Shawarma left us speechless. Each dish was meticulously prepared, showcasing the chef's mastery of Mediterranean cuisine.

What truly sets Alloush Grill apart, however, is not just the delectable food but also the unparalleled hospitality. The waitstaff, the owners, and the entire crew exuded warmth and hospitality from the moment we walked in. They made us feel like honored guests in their home, and the genuine camaraderie made our dining experience truly memorable. Our conversations flowed effortlessly, extending late into the night until the restaurant nearly closed.

I don’t even know where to begin because everything about my visit was PERFECT! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and just buzzing with good vibes.

But let me talk about the real stars of the night—Ramzi and Mohamed. WOW. Ramzi was our server and let me tell you, he’s an absolute gem! So kind, so attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best experience possible. He checked on us just the right amount, made fantastic recommendations, and had this energy that made the whole night feel extra special. You can tell he truly loves what he does.

And Mohamed—the manager—is on another level. You don’t always see managers that involved, but he was present, professional, and genuinely cared about how everything was going. He even came over to say hello and made sure we were happy with everything. That kind of attention to detail and care is RARE.

As for the food? Don’t even get me started. Every single dish was bursting with flavor. You can taste the quality and love put into it. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. It honestly exceeded every expectation.

I left the restaurant feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit. The food was incredible, the service was next level, and the people—Ramzi and Mohamed especially—made it unforgettable.
