I have never felt so profoundly unwanted in an establishment. Today was meant to be a special day—I went to your restaurant with my family to celebrate my birthday, seeking to relive some cherished memories. Instead, I left feeling completely heartbroken and unvalued.
It was a quiet Sunday, with only a handful of families present, maybe five in total besides us (quiet enough to hear the girls giggling and joking around). Despite this calm setting, the moment we walked in, I could hear the women in the kitchen getting upset and yelling after realizing that seven people, me and my immediate family, had arrived. Hearing them argue over who would greet us at the door was humiliating. Your guests hear more than you might think, and in that moment, I felt like an unwanted interruption rather than a welcomed customer.
As we sat at our table, the situation only grew more disheartening. The manager was interviewing two new hires right next to us, seemingly unaware or unconcerned about the negative atmosphere. I wanted to approach him and share how hurt I was by the experience, but the weight of feeling so unwelcome left me too drained to do so.
The whole situation ruined my appetite. I couldn’t bring myself to eat, barely managing to pick at some fries. I felt so overwhelmed with sadness that all I wanted was to leave. By the time I walked out of the restaurant, I felt physically sick—not just from disappointment but from how unwanted I had been made to feel on a day that should have been filled with joy.
I am truly sorry if our presence was an inconvenience to your staff, but this experience has ensured that I will not be returning. It saddens me deeply to know that what should have been a happy occasion became such an...
Read moreMy last two visits will be my last two visits. I specifically asked if I could substitute the salad bar for my two sides and was told yes, so I got no sides and got soup and salad from the salad bar. When the bill came I was charged full price for my entree and upcharged for the salad bar! Tonight I ordered a side of shrimp, a side of strawberries and a side of broccoli. my husband got the chicken and broccoli Alfredo , with no sides. The waitress put two of my sides on his meal. I didn’t get the shrimp until after we were done eating and the waitress brought a full plate of shrimp. I told her I only ordered a side and she said you can’t do that. Why wasn’t I told that when I ordered it? My husband didn’t get broccoli on his chicken and broccoli Alfredo. So, in reality, I got the broccoli from his meal and my side of shrimp and strawberries were on his meal. I was charged three times what the side of shrimp should have been had it not been a side that should have gone with my...
Read moreThe food was bad, I've eaten the same dish at other eat n parks and it didn't compare at all. Our waitress was never seen after she brought our drinks 20 minutes after we were seated. I'm not sure who brought out our food but she just pretty much dropped our plates on the table and glared at us before walking back to the kitchen. The water I was served tasted like dirty city water and my food was a sloppy mess. My boyfriends baked penne was hard as a brick with no sauce and my spicy pepper pasta was drowned in sauce and the chicken was undercooked. Our dishes were cold when they came out 45 minutes after we got our drinks. We got the salad bar and this boy, note I said boy not man, was cleaning the salad bar and every time I would use a pair of tongs he would grab them and slam them into the containers after he sighed and grunted at me like I was wrong for using the tongs to get my salad. Everyone was VERY...
