This is a weird McDonalds since it has some of the most inconsistent service I've seen.
If you go through the drive-thru, it is usually pretty reliable and timely. Not always, but usually decent. But somehow if you go in and use the Kiosk. As in you can visually see everything and any modifications you made, and it takes like 15-20 mins to get your food. Especially the last two times in the last few weeks I went through indoors.
To put it in perspective, it was the bundles with a McChicken or McDouble with a small fry, and 6 nuggets. No crazy orders like asking for unsalted fries made to order, or whatever. Basically default items with excluding ketchup on the burger, or adding cheese to the McChicken. Nothing crazy. Mind you, they assemble this to order by default anyway.
Yet the last two times, those items took over 15 mins each time. I even checked the time last time, it was close to 20 mins to get my food from the time I got my receipt. Sit-down diners move faster.
Also I know McDonald's nowadays don't keep an attendant at the counter anymore by default, and the poor worker who runs around getting food for indoors and I think Drive-Thru at times has to take orders. I don't have issues with the kiosks, but I understand how older customers do. Yet they wait a good few minutes each time just to put their order in with no one at the counter. That's just bad.
Overall the place gets about 2.5 stars as sometimes the times are what you expect with fast food, and other times it's unacceptable. That said, I have to put it at 2-stars since any fast food joint for one taking about 20 mins to get food is unacceptable. Especially since these happen to me when I was busy with work and needed to get something quick. It's called fast food. I think they are understaffed, likely mediocre management, have issues in the kitchen at times, and a poor system setup with...
Read moreWhere can I start, first of all I wish I can take this one star away....I come to this Mcdonalds everyday because its close to my job, there slow and sometimes missing items, so last week I ordered a number 1 which is egg McMuffin meal which consist of sandwich, beverage coffee or orange juice and Hash brown and I get a large unsweetened ice tea with four lemons, so on this day my hash brown was missing and I called to Mcdonalds at YorkTown and spoke to a woman name Lupe, and she said come back and she will give me a Hash Brown, by that time I was at work, I couldn't leave so she said come when you can I will right your name in the book, so I come today and ask about my Hash brown, I got questioned as if I am some unhonest person as if I'm trying to get food for free, no thats not the problem, I spend my money there 5 days a week I don't need free food, its the principle, fact that I paid for something and didn't receive, but I got nasty attitude from another employee name LIZ I believe, stating where is my receipt, so then I asked how would i know about a book or manager(s) name if I didn't speak to someone, if this doesn't get fix I will print out bank statements to show CORPORATE I come everyday, so either fix it, or corporate will hear from me...I have no reason to lie about a Hash brown and I'm damn for sure not hurting for any money....I JUST WANT WHAT I PAID FOR, AND I WANT BETTER SERVICE ESPECIALLY WHEN IM SPENDING MY HARD...
Read moreI entered to dine with my sons, and the self-order kiosk malfunctioned upon getting into the McDonald's. At first, I tried to get one of the employee's attention; however, it seemed they were all pretty busy with the drive-thru. Finally, one of the employees placed my order. She asked if we were dining in. I said yes. After 15-20minutes wait. The server yelled 205. I was surprised because I expected him to bring food to the table where we were sitting. I got up, and when I got to the counter, there was no straw or tray to get the food. Right on the face, he walked to serve food to another guest at their table. I asked him why he called my number instead of having the food I ordered brought to me. He said, "You have a number that is not dine-in." I was surprised because I wondered why I was sitting there for over 15 minutes when I could have gone to the drive-thru. The cashier I paid asked me if I was dining in or to go, which I said dine in. Then, when we opened the food, all the orders were messed up. I walked by the register with my receipt to get the food I had paid for. The sad part is that the McDonald's location is not far from my residence, but I definitely would not be returning. They are all Hispanic, and it seems they care more for their races than...
