I never leave reviews, but I was kind of disappointed. Not with the multiple phone calls that were made (prior to coming into the store), but when I arrived. Literally, with my greeting. I did my research, I put a desk on hold and ended the phone call with, “see you this afternoon I’ll be coming to get the desk”. Very clear. And as I arrived, “hi I have a desk on hold for me here”. I was met with many unnecessary comments that went along the lines of. “Oh well it WAS on hold”, “someone was wanting to purchase it”, “they almost bought it”, “it’s not on hold for you anymore”, “your hold time expired”. Meanwhile, I am completely unaware of a “hold-time” existing. Instead, I’m confused and am asking, “well is the desk still here?” And just feeling unnecessarily scared that someone else i thought bought my desk, or I guess just had to hear all about how they almost bought it?? At the end of the day, when I’m a customer walking in to make a thousand dollar purchase, no matter who you are, you probably want some nicer customer service. And being greeted with unneeded comments, accompanied with a lack of information (like a wait time), was distasteful. Kind of ruined the exciting purchase talking...
Read moreTheir customer service is very bad. I purchased a couch and used their delivery people. I measured and it should have fit up the stairs. The two delivery men were very late and couldn't get it up the stairs and it was too dark to figure out any other way to get it upstairs. Also the underside of the couch looked like someone or animal had tore it all up. Warning - check underneath the furniture. So they brought it back. I had to pay delivery in both directions with CASH. They had to go back to the store anyways but I had to still pay to take it back. John in customer service said I could get store credit for only the couch but I definitely did not want to go though this whole ordeal again with this company and wanted my money back. He said no way they did not do refunds ONLY store credit. Amazon and most customer friendly companies pays for delivery and does refunds. This company does NOT. John said that was their policy and my policy is to try to get my money back and to complain what a lousy customer service they have. Read moreI have purchased several RH items in the past, both on line, in store and at outlet. I recently bought beautiful shelves at the Long Beach store. They were in great condition when I purchased them, however when they were delivered to my car for pick up, they were completely scratched with deep groves. I requested they be wrapped when I paid for them at the register, but the store staff ignored the request and scratched the shelves so badly that I couldn’t even use them. What a shame to have such a nice product be carelessly delivered to the point where I didn’t want them. Of course they offered me nothing but a return. These were paid for and considered my product. The Manager and staff are careless and honestly do not care about customer service and this store proves that with the chipped, scratched and broken items within the store that they are trying to sell for too prices. A second hand store would have better quality. Now it makes sense. Last time I will shop at this location. I will be calling the RH customer services line to let them know that they are losing customers and clients at...
