Was in town for two days for a K pop concert with my kid, so ate here for breakfast two days, dinner one night and sat at the bar prior to going to the concert. The night, we got in we had dinner (in the pics) and it was a lot of fries and a big burger that I didn't finish and my kid had a club which she finished only half and took rest to the room. Food this night was good but it has LA prices so you have been warned.
Breakfast both days was interesting. The first day, they sat us down and brought coffee but never came back with menu's (buffet it was that day) but I saw them sit other folks down with menus. The first day buffet was good and had lots of selections (no pics since it was packed) and they brought us a bill at the end and it was about 100 bucks for that but I'm a Globalist so it gets comped (Cali prices). The second day, we got a breakfast a bit later and it looked really picked over and not organized. Most of the fruit was gone (plenty on day one), there was no Greek yogurt and the oatmeal was almost gone (I eat oats daily and the prior day, only one scoop was gone when I got there). The place was even more busy so I assume management didn't plan for the increase in folks. Prior to taking our order the young lady asked if we had a voucher, I told her I was a Globalist and they didn't give me one when I checked in and she said that they have a list in the back and long as we on the list we good...so no bill was brought on this day.
Drinks before the concert- Went to bar and had some old fashions and some wings. Drinks were great and so was the conversation with the bar tender. The wings, I had half buffalo and half lemon pepper. Buffalo was great but the lemon pepper was so salty, I don't think I tasted any other flavor but the salt but I grubbed them...
Read moreMy mom and I took an unforgettable trip to Los Angeles and Anaheim to celebrate her birthday. Before heading home to Vancouver, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel LAX for a relaxing overnight stay before our flight at 8:30AM the next day. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Beckett’s, the hotel’s on-site restaurant, offering a great spot to unwind and savour a good meal. The culinary experience at Beckett's blends comfort with a touch of sophistication. From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance sets the stage for an enjoyable meal.
My mom and I shared a comforting plate of mac and cheese—rich, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of cheesy goodness. To balance the indulgence, we also ordered the Caesar salad, a classic done right, featuring crisp romaine, a tangy, well-balanced dressing, and perfectly crunchy croutons that tied everything together.
I ordered the veggie flatbread, which delivered a satisfying balance of crispy crust and vibrant, fresh toppings. It is perfect for a flavourful vegetarian meal.
My mom craved for a meatier fare and ordered the carne asada quesadilla—a satisfying choice for her. She said the steak was tender and well-seasoned, wrapped in perfectly melted cheese and a soft tortilla.
Every dish we ordered at Beckett's reflected attention to quality ingredients and execution, making for an experience that’s both comforting and memorable. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal near LAX,...
Read moreThis place is awesome for a hotel restaurant and bar. I was a little taken aback by the prices of the food, but when my order arrived the portion was so large that it made up for it. I usually had leftovers for the next day. I visited the bar every night during my stay for a drink and a meal, and everything I got was delicious. I recommend the burger and the flatbreads. I also ate breakfast here every morning as well. The buffet is pretty expansive, and the food is solid. I will say the best part of Beckett’s is actually the staff. The bartenders were really quick, but also super friendly. The servers at breakfast were covering a large amount of tables, and were relatively...
