The burger I had was really good and the server seemed quite friendly. Unfortunately I chose to rate a bit lower than they may have deserved because of what I noticed after I had finished my meal. The burger I had ordered regularly comes with a double-impossible patty but the kitchen had run out. The server suggested getting the regular impossible burger and subbing in the other ingredients from the burger I wanted. I went along with this idea but it took me a while to realise that I actually ended up paying more than the regular cost of the burger that would come with the double patty because of the add on charges. I could understand if I still had to pay the original cost of the double patty burger, but paying more for less is a little unreasonable. I also was not given a receipt , but was charged verbally at the bar so it seems it was intentional and comes across as underhanded. A bit disappointing because I was pretty excited about this place before and during my stay there up until realising what had happened.

This is a great lunch spot. My co-workers and I come here often when we have the time for a longer lunch. It is especially enjoyable when the weather is nice since you can sit outside, enjoy a beer, and people watch. Yes, the menu is Vegan but it in no way affects the fabulous flavor. I am a huge fan of the $15 Viet-nom-nom Wrap: Citrus "Spare rib", Jasmine Rice, Green Papaya, Pickled Daikon, Carrots, Thai Basil, Cilantro, Hot Chili Sambal, Gochujang Creama in Chipotle Flour Tortilla. It has the perfect amount of heat from the sambal, sweetness from the citrus, and texture from the rice. The wrap is large so it usually covers 2 meals for me or is a great option to share with a side dish. On the off chance I’m not in the mood for the wrap, I’ve ordered the $16 Loco Moco Bowl which is also delicious. Again a decent portion so this too has covered 2 meals for me. Friendly service, a decent beer list, and a great location with outdoor seating (pet-friendly) makes Beelman's a terrific lunchtime spot.

I'm a pescatarian so any chance when I can find a vegetarian friendly place I like to go visit. A friend and I decided to go on a Thursday night. It was a good amount of people in there. I saw that we had to go up to the bar to order. I believe it says to do so on their menu, however, it would have been nice to be greeted. We went up to the bar to order some food and my friend a drink. The bartender was wrapped up having a conversation with a group of people who were at the bar instead of giving her immediate attention to us as we walked up. It gave the feeling of being slighted. I ordered the loaded tots that all the Yelp reviews raved about. To be honest they were just okay. It was nothing to run home about. At all. I felt like the chili could have had more flavor. I plan on giving this place another try and trying out more menu items in the future. As for now, Beelman's is a bit run of the mill for me. Three stars, but I am hopeful that I'll be better impressed my next visit!

Wow I'm very VERY impressed of the kind discriminative and unprofessional person you have in the entrance. We were getting there to celebrate Mexico's amazing game. We are very fond of Mexican Soccer! My first world cup in LA. My husband is mostly Irish American and he loves those pubs, I like them too but I mostly go for mi because I'm more of a trendy hip person. The first thing he said was if we were going to the bathroom, my husband had a few drinks and that got him really mad. I told him to just not start a discussion. We are both pretty well dressed, it was offensive and quite frankly we go to a lot of great places because we work hard to have our well deserved life. Why would we take out our ids to use a restroom? The place wasn't even packed so they lost a lot of business. He even blocked the door. He was actually acting strange maybe he was high on marihuana or an a medication only he knows. Then he went with the excuse that we were drunk. So I said sir, I haven't even taken a drink because I come from work and yes my husband had a few drinks but he was not wasted like he said, so I immediately walked out and avoided continuing the scene although I say aw you have no idea what the World Cup is and I'm not even Mexican. So guys don't go here especially to watch the World Cup. The place isn't good anyway! I think he probably just wants to use his “power” of being at the entrance out of nothing. I see in other comments stuff about the vibe so I guess I’m...

I wish I could leave absolutely "0" because they don't deserve it! Went here with my co-worker and her child because it's close to work. We walk up and the security guard is destroying some chicken wings. He stops us, after licking his fat dirty fingers, and says "Oh we don't allow minors after 8 pm." I look at my phone and it's 7:04 p.m. I kindly let him know it was only 7 pm which is before 8 so we should be fine as we are only grabbing food. He continues to eat and talk at us stating that the bar/restaurant doesn't allow minors after 8 pm. Again, it's only 7:05 at this time. He tells us to wait after licking his fingers again so that he can go ask the person inside. Instead of waiting, we walked up to the outside window to ask someone about the rules on minors seeing as we've never had this problem prior. The Bartender came to the window and we talked to him about getting food as we've always done with the baby with us. His response was so musty it made me gag and I frankly will never step foot in that establishment again. He told us verbatim "You can order food but at 9 pm you gotta get out!" I was so disgusted by that reaction that even the getting food from there sounded nasty. It was such a negative experience that even the baby cried saying "They don't want me inside! How come they don't want me inside?" How disheartening. That whole entire staff should be ashamed of themselves for making a child cry! This is...

Okay so let's break this place down.

Atmosphere: You walk in after being carded to what looks like any bar. Glossy thick wood tables and metal/wood high-sitting chairs along with a few booths. Low enough light to be a good date mood but bright enough that you can still see someone standing on the other side.

Service: After finally figuring out that you have to order at the bar, the service was exceptional. 20% tips all night long

Beer / Cider: Not a huge selection but what they have is above average. Beer isnt really my thing so I'm not going to dive into something I'm not 100% on.

Food: HOLY IMPOSSIBLE BURGERS BATMAN.

10/10. Wish I could give more stars because OHMYYODDDDD. the wontons, the Korean BBQ tater tots were amazing. We added impossible meat on too of the tots and it was totally worth the extra money. The Viet Nom nom wrap...I dont know what is in it but I want it...a lot. I woke up today thinking about it.

And the DESSERT. HA. I dont have words, just please - for the love of all things holy - make sure you save room for dessert.

P. S. I am not a vegan. I am not even vegetarian. This place is better than most pub bar and grill type places and fairly comparable via...
