Today for my birthday I wanted to try a new place with my husband. So, we decided to try D-Town Burger Bar which isn't too far from where we live it's in the heart of downtown Los Angeles somewhat busy area. We ordered two double burgers with large fries. On my burger the extras that I put on it where (two patties on a double burger): bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, mushrooms, cheese, avocado, mustard, and mayo. My husband was very boring and put tomato, lettuce and cheese... He said that the burger was delicious and I agree with him very much so!!! The burger wasn't only fulfilling it was also huge and juicy the only problem I would say that we both agreed on are the french fries they are a little "wiggly" and not as crispy as I would like. Also if you are trying to place an order or find out more information about the restaurant it seems like their phone is always off the hook so you might as well walk down there if you have any questions. I give this place five stars because I am very pleased with every bit of my meal and so was my husband. I think if you're debating I'm trying it you...
Read moreI came to Dtown Burger for the 1st time today. I have always seen it passing by . I have always been on my way to . Some place in a hurry , so I never had the time to try this place. Well today I had time . I also had extreme munchies. From dabbing and blazing all day . Chilling with my boys on Spring Steet in beautiful Downtown LA. I was craving a burger. I came here and I'm very happy. It's not too pricey, as for Downtown LA prices go . This place isn't to bad . I ordered the # 2 a double cheese burger, fries , and a drink. The fries are pretty good. Nice , seasoned , and great temperature. They tasted so good. The double cheese burger. Was bomb everything went together perfectly. The cheese, the meat, even the bun was warm and buttery. Dtown Burger was about 4 dollars cheaper. Then the other spot down the street. The other place I was very disappointed. Dtown blew them out the water. For less money too . If you're in Downtown on Spring street and the munchies kick in . Come try a great cheese burger at Dtown. I was very happy with the food 😋 come...
Read moreThis place reminds me of an old school burger joint you would see in Grease. They even have an old fashion juke box. D-town Burger Bar is a hole in the wall, but you can't miss their old school sign in front.
Probably one of the cheaper places to grab a burger in downtown. Ordering a combo is a bit cheaper than ordering the items separate. I usually order their #1 which is a regular cheese burger with fries and a drink (~$7). They also give you the option to make your fries into garlic fries! If you don't mind having garlic breath for the rest of the day it is delicious. The burger itself is nothing special, even with my lack of cooking skills I could probably replicate it. But it is definitely a solid burger!
I really want to give this place 4 stars, but the restaurant itself is just too dirty. When I sat down everything was sticky! I felt bad because it appears there are only 2 people working and they are occupied with cooking and the cash register. Management definitely needs to hire another...
