I wish I could give a better review but on the second time trying the Long Beach location I ordered online due to the long in person wait lines (totally worth the wait if you have the time) I received a confirmation email as well as an email stating my food would be ready in about an hour and 40 minutes. Again no problem this is why I ordered from home. I showed up at the food truck less than 5 minutes after scheduled pick up time. The girl giving out pick up orders looked in the ready pile then asked me to double check that I ordered the Long Beach location. Once I did she disappeared into the trunk and came back to tell me that my order had been cancelled. I refreshed my email and sure enough had a cancellation time stamped a minute ago. I told the manager I did not want a refund I wanted them to correct the mistake she made, I had been patiently waiting for my food for over an hour and a half. I had been at their food truck before when I saw a mistake made to an order and they quickly remedied by moving that order to the front of the cook line. I was essentially told by the very rude manager that then came over to talk to me that they are too busy and there was nothing to be done. They had too many in person orders to worry about botched online orders. The extremely rude manager then proceeded to lie to me and tell me my order had been cancelled shortly after being placed. When I told her that was a lie because of the time stamps on the emails she claimed she would not argue with me (meanwhile she was already partaking in a loud conversation with me in front of the food truck)

Moral of the story the food was good but absolutely will not be giving them any more of my business due to disrespect and bad business practice. I would have happily waited an extra 20-30 minutes for them to take my order down add it to the list of orders being made. Instead they lied argued with me and said to get in the back of the line if I wanted to eat from there because there was nothing else...

First came across this food truck after a night out. Really hit the spot. Returned since and the food is still great. Look, it’s not going to be upscale restaurant quality. But it’s good grub and the food has a great smoky, umami flavour which I really appreciate.

Ironically I would NOT recommend this on a night out because of the 20 minute wait time. But on any other week night where you have time to...

Not gonna buy from here again. I paid about $40 for the steak and lobster that comes with fried rice. When I get my order, it was about 6 pieces of cut up lobster and about 7 pieces of cut up steak but the bowl was filled to the brim with rice. I basically paid $40 for rice with a small side of steak and smaller side of lobster. Not wasting my money...
