Crafted Donuts is a donut shop in a strip mall on Wilshire in Koreatown. I am a big donut fan and came by to see what Crafted Donuts were like.

Short version - excellent!

I was in the mood for value for my dollar so I was drawn to the half dozen promotion. They have a great selection of regular donuts including many of my favorites like glazed, maple, and cocount. They also have a tasty selection of fancy/signature donuts. I am going to go back to try some of the fancier options.

The donuts I had were all what most folks would consider traditional, fluffy donuts. They are on the larger side and six kept me going for two days. They tasted just as great after two days on my counter as the first day which means they were fresh right from when I ordered.

In addition to donuts, they have a nice cafe menu with coffee and tea drinks as well as bagels, sandwiches and more.

The people behind the counter were helpful, friendly and patient which I appreciate since I always struggle to pick multiple donuts. They were also very kind. I saw them assist a person who was struggling and came in looking for water.

The shop is small and has a few seating options. I like the logo and the simple decor. It is in a strip mall with parking but it seems like it could get a little tricky to find parking at times.

They have a delicious selection of mouth watering donut styles-we had the custard filled creme brulee-the top portion glazing crackles as we bit into it then the freshly made surrounding dough gushed out with fresh creamy custard inside-wow what a taste experience! Then we had the deliteful peanut butter donut that was superb! We ordered one of their breakfast panini sandwiches that was another taste hit and topped it off with a coffee latte-wow! The servers at Crafted Donuts are very courteous and offer suggestions regarding their foods and the music and interior is very uplifting and a great place to sit and enjoy your Crafted Donuts,sandwich or beverage. In a city like Los Angeles you've got to be on your "A" game to be in the donut business this long and it's easy to taste why Crafted Donuts continues to be so popular. We were really glad we stopped into Crafted Donuts on Wilshire Blvd.,and we knew that we would be back again and again! What a fortuitous accident that I ended up here! I had intended to go to the the cafe upstairs but the sketchy elevator was out of order and I wasn’t going to carry a stroller upstairs. Saw this place and so glad I decided to go in. I got a ham/egg/cheese on a croissant, two donuts, and a large iced caramel macchiato and it came to about $15. I haven’t tried the donuts yet but the breakfast sandwich was SO GOOD! The croissant was warm and buttery and they put a good amount of ham in there — not like some places that put like one measly slice on the whole sandwich. The macchiato was very sweet but good; I will probably just ask for it to be less sweet next time (and there will be a next time!).
