Fantastic Donut — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Came to Fantastic Donuts specifically for the super cute animal ones that they make! And boy oh boy, they were so cute! I got here on a Saturday morning around 9:30am, they had one tray of the cute donuts out and the super nice and friendly owner explained to me that since I was early, they were still making fresh batches, so I could choose which animals and fillings I wanted and he would make them for me! How awesome!

I got the chick with cream filling, cow and pig with strawberry filling and a bluebeary (blueberry frosting) donuts. So cute, and tasty too! Generous amounts of cream and filling and not too sweet so you could just keep eating and eating and committing cute donut murder. My four donuts came to a little over $6, not too bad. Their regular donut offerings are pretty cheap too, many are under $1.

There is nothing special about this place other than being a regular donut store. However, they do make some cute decorated donuts that appeal to people.

The donuts are basically plain or jelly/creme filled donuts with glaze that are decorated as animals. I admit the decoration is very creative and great for pictures but nothing more than that.

The price for the donuts is slightly higher than they would normally charge but it less than you would pay at other places like California donuts or DK donuts.
