Beware that this place will make you feel like you're a hostage
$50 per person at least that's what we thought
Turns out that even with six drinks between us and two red bulls we didn't hit the minimum so we were charged $12 more to hit it for nothing bartender didn't even tell us
They keep your ID and your credit card so until you hit the minimum you can't leave.
I was told I couldn't leave until I hit the minimum my friend left because he was done with the club other friend stuck around but was not happy with our experience and wanted to leave before our last drinks to try to hit minimum
On top of that 20% gratuity automatic
But to be honest the manager hooked us up so the night wasn't a complete bust
But the reason why I am giving this place one star is because you feel like you're hostage you're not allowed to leave one room with a drink even to go to the restroom or to go to another room
You were not allowed to go to the Rooftop with your drink well sort of the rooftop next to the taco truck on the roof because it was nowhere near what you see on the pictures on Google at least when we went on Friday
But you're not allowed to leave one room to go to the roof with your drink
Or to go to another part of the place with a drink
The manager was the best part of our night. Based on him hooking us up and him walking us into the second part which was the speakeasy
But to be honest I am writing this review honestly because the club is small the Speakeasy is small and everything i wrote above.
But the manager is awesome and deserves five stars a man of his word but Level 8 deserves zero Stars
For their way they treat their customer base
My friends hated Level 8
Once again I give the Manager credit for the way he treated us after I talked to him
But i can not recommend going here and I highly recommend going someplace else unless you have no problem with everything aboveBeware that this place will make you feel like you're a hostage

Read moreLevel 8 is an amazing concept with something for everyone or, in my case, everything for someone! I had the best luck to not only discover Level 8 when I was planning a milestone birthday party and couldn't find anywhere else with enough of a wow factor, but also in getting the most amazing partner in planning from the Events Manager Chrissy!
I immediately knew this location was perfect to hold a whole evening of events, getting to experience completely different locations, foods, drinks, and entertainment, without having to go more than a couple of feet into the next room. Golden Hour is a must for pre-drinks and all your photos at sunset (obviously!), Maison Kasai has the best food and private dining, Mr. Wanderlust was perfect for post-dinner drinks with a bit of aerial, burlesque & live music, and Sinners Y Santos was an awesome club to close out the night. I loved every location, felt like I got my money's worth with non-stop entertainment, and would highly recommend not only each venue by itself, but scheduling the same kind of multi-stop evening that Chrissy helped me create for a special event.
Chrissy assisted every step of the way, answering my many questions, arranging bookings, plan adjustments, special requests such as a vegan option, monitoring the budget, and was on-hand the evening of to make sure everything went smoothly. My biggest praise to her, however, is that a couple external issues popped up that couldn't have been prevented and were no fault of Level 8, but how she proactively shared updates, made adjustments, and provided additional value to make up for the changes, was above and beyond - I felt like I ended up with an even better evening than we had planned because of how well she managed everything.
Thank you so much Chrissy for all that you did and to the whole team at Level 8 for such a great concept and incredible service - I can't wait to visit again...

I started my birthday with Dinner at Que Bárbaro, we could not get seated until everyone arrived (be aware)if your having a large party, I suggest you give everyone an earlier time so that you don’t have to wait. Or meet everyone at the Speak Easy first or one of the other places at Level 8.
Thankfully the speak easy Mr. Wanderlust is next to the restaurant , we had a drink and the piano music was amazing and we waited until the full party arrived. Once everyone arrived we went back to Que Bárbaro. Since everything is on the same floor, it was not a big deal to walk back to the restaurant. The food was very good and the desserts were delicious.
We wondered over to Golden Hour, the outdoor pool with a DJ and plenty of room to find a place to socialize. Again, it’s super convenient as soon as you walk out of Que Bárbaro, you’ll see the pool area. We danced a little and by 10 pm, we went to the club Sinners & Santos. The music was great, a bit tight but a great experience.
Negative parking can be a nightmare. It’s located across the street from the convention center. So depending on what’s going on around the arena you may get crazy traffic. Parking at the location was $50, it was across from the hotel. The hole was not taking Valet at the time we arrived. This was 4th of July weekend. So not sure if this is normal. If you can Uber, I’d suggest you rideshare.
Que Bárbaro, was excellent. However, they won’t sit you until your entire party is there. We had 6/8 that were there and they wouldn’t sit us. Traffic was a nightmare because there was a concert and a large conference across the street.
Despite the two issues, I highly...
