I NEVER write bad reviews but I'm actually heartbroken. I have had this jacket that belonged to my late grandma since I was 14 years old. I have had a horribly difficult month and of course icing on the cake, finally lost the jacket because I have been so overwhelmed.

I called Lo/Cal because I go almost once a week, my gut told me that's where I left it. I call to find out the manager THREW IT AWAY!! Not even donated, TRASHED! They said it was because it was there for a FEW DAYS and I guess that's too long??

I'm so so so sad. I have worked at restaurants and bars for years and we never did something so cruel after only a few days, we've held onto things for months, you have no clue how much something might mean to someone. To be such a loyal customer and they can't even return the favor is just so awful and I can't stop crying. I hope they never do this to...

Stay away from this cafe. I had an issue I wanted to speak with a manager about and all the staff said there is no manager but the owner would be in soon and to leave my number he would call me back. But nobody ever call me back. I’ve been into the shop three times since then to try to speak to the owner and to leave my number again and each time nobody calls me back. I’ve rung them on the telephone about eight times and nobody ever answers I’ve sent text messages multiple times and nobody answers. It really seems they don’t care about their customers at all or their suggestions and feedback and complaints, so why give business to someone like this. There is too much other competition with much better coffee anyway. If this is how they treat me, I’m never going back again and giving them a cent...

Horrible customer service , never experienced anything like that. Person in the morning shift today with striped tank top and eye glasses. Thanks for an attitude. Walked in , while I was getting close to register, this person looked at me with an attitude and turned away , then looked again and turned away again with mad face. I stopped to order, not even hi, or something , this person was just keep looking away from me, and kept sitting covering face with a hand. I was confused. I asked are u ready to take an order? Answer was : mhhhhmmm. Person barely spoke to me. I walked away. And waited for another person to take an order. I loved stopping by this place.NEVER...

Had the breakfast platter which was fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the chocolate banana loaf and was thrilled to have gluten free pastry options. My husband had the yogurt parfait and commented on how fresh and delicious the granola was. My husband is Argentinian and was thrilled to also find Argentinian pastries and empanadas. Coffee was lovely and staff were great. Nothing negative to say about this place. We came here before heading to la brea tar pits and it was a short and pleasant walk from there. Would recommend to anyone else visiting the museum or who lives in the area.

Absolutely loved my experience at this peaceful coffee shop! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by lush greenery that instantly created a serene atmosphere. The coffee was simply divine – rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. The ambiance was perfect for both catching up with friends or enjoying some peaceful alone time. What truly set this place apart was the exceptional service – the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure my visit was memorable. Can't wait to return for another delightful coffee experience.
